I am a beginner to cross stitching and this was a great first project as it has directions and guiding print on the piece itself. The only thing I am missing is directions on how to tie the project off when done. Otherwise, I love the image and it was easy to use.

Wanted to get make some presents for Christmas this year as $ is tight. Found this on Amazon and I figured why not try it out? The kit comes with everything you need (thread, needle etc) but the wooden hoop broke when I was in the middle of making this so I’ve been finishing it without the use of a hoop. It’s quick to make (I’m just about done and I’ve been working on it for an average of 2 hours a night over 5 nights). I’m curious how it will go when I wash it to get the colors out. Hopefully, I won’t have wasted time & $ !!!!

I love to cross stitch and have been doing it for years, so my tween daughter was interested in trying it out. I bought her this kit to help her get started. I love the way the thread was packaged and how the cloth was printed. However, there are minimal instructions on how to actually cross stitch. This would be a good kit if you already knew the basics, but definitely not for someone who was brand new to cross stitching. I was able to show my daughter what to do, and she’s enjoying doing it, but I would not buy this again for someone brand new to the craft.

I had never done this before and succeeded, but I should've read the instructions first....so I stitched on the blank side and trained my eyes to look through the fabric instead of just stitching on the colored side like I should have. I had no idea once you are done you just sit the fabric in cold water for 3 hours and all of the pattern washes away! Incredible. I loved this. My picture of my finished stitch is the mirror image of what it should be and some different colors because I chose to do mine a bit different than the pic and of course I did it on the blank side, as I previously said.

So much wrong with this product.1. Impossible to place material into hoop. Tried to still complete project just holding the material without the hoop. But…2. Floss cheap and cannot be separated into thinner strands. Because of the thickness of the floss it’s almost impossible to thread the needle (even using a threading tool). Also difficult to actually complete the stitching once the needle is threaded.3. Even if you manage to complete the project, you can’t display it because there is a grid that crosses the entire mesh material. Maybe there is a way to remove this pattern but due to the lack of instructions I’ll never know.I completed approx 2 rows before giving up and throwing this in the trash.Note: no instructions were provided. I know how to cross stitch already but for new stitchers you’ll need to find instructions elsewhere.
