Rain Dirt & Dust Cover for Garrett at PRO Garrett at Gold Metal Detector (Cover Only) Ship from US

I received my cover earlier this week, and I’ve already used it during a few hunts with my AT Max. It was exactly what I was looking for to keep dust and dirt from working its way into the buttons and, more importantly, for protecting the screen and control box face from scratches. I use gloves while detecting, and those gloves always end up covered in dirt/mud - no matter how careful I try to be, the dirt from the gloves would eventually cause abrasions and wear on the control box face and screen.For anyone who may be wondering, this cover definitely fits the AT Max perfectly - it slides onto the control box easily, but still has a nice snug fit using the Velcro closure. It easily looks like it could have come right from Garrett as an included accessory. All the stitching is well done, and the material is heavy duty - it’s the same, if not better, quality as the Garrett environmental cover that came with my Ace 400 (my previous detector). The battery compartment is still easily accessible while the cover is in place, which shows there was some good thought put into the design by someone who understands how the detector gets used.There is only one con I can think of, but it’s ridiculously minor - the image shows a digital camouflage cover and the one I received was woodland camo. The digital camo would have matched the rest of my gear better, but I’m not going for fashion points here. From a functional, design, and craftsmanship standpoint, this cover deserves 5 stars!

To be honest at first I thought I would hate this cover when i received it. But no, it does exactly what I wanted it to do. Snug fit easy access to battery compartment without removing the cover, and most importantly it protects my investment from scratches. I do wish it came in digital camo but not enough to drop a star. Good buy.

It covers the unit well and the Velcro is solid.

This is a good product to protect my AT Max. Does not fit exactly right but does do the job. Really just needed to keep dirt out of the control box as I am a little OCD and clean everything, lol.. if you want it to fit snug at the bottom you will have to loosen the control box screw pull it on and tighten back up. Over all good product but does appear to be hand made which is not a bad thing sometimes.

Very poorly made--the vinyl front was not stitched in some spots--looks great but I would not recommend.
