Sesame Street: Advent Calendar Storybook Collection

We were thrilled when we discovered this Advent calendar, which was released earlier this year.We're a family with three generations of Sesame Street fans, including a pre-school generation just discovering the array of Muppets and Sesame Street media and toys.We like the overall themes that are educational but infused with fun and we really love the kind-hearted spirits of this whole family of characters.Each year, we have a line up of new Advent calendars to open each morning (and evening). It has become a favorite part of the anticipation of Christmas.We have had little-storybook Advent calendars before. If you're shopping for this format, check out the various Disney options Amazon sells. There's also a wonderful storybook Advent calendar that divides up all the short sections of the Bible's Nativity story into little books. That calendar has been around for many years and we've actually reused that one sometimes over the years. Amazon sells that one, too. The favorite one I'm referring to here is called The Story of Christmas by Carolyn Crall, published by Workman.If you look at the third photo at the top of this product page, you can see all the covers of these 24 books. We really like the wide range of themes and the fun that we'll have opening and reading each one.We're highly recommending this to other families.

This is the very BEST Advent calendar I’ve ever seen! Each book is 16 pages, a full story with all the Sesame Street characters. The order of books is thoughtful and the Count does a countdown each day. So cute, and Worth every penny!!

Our toddler LOVED this little advent calendar. The books were adorable and they are short reads before bedtime. It is packaged nicely and I would definitely recommend.

This was a great buy! My 19mo absolutely loved it! The calendar itself is as big as my kid and the books are mini sized (see pictures). There’s cute stories, classic Christmas stories adapted to include our favorite furry characters, and activity books. Each book comes in a sleeve and if you are careful with the books/sleeves and put them back after reading them you could reuse it for multiple years! I included an example picture of how I tucked them back in after we opened that day. We did reread a few books each day but I would tuck them back in so we didn’t mix them up. I highly recommend buying it!

The stories are all Christmas themed, and generally short. This is our first year buying this calendar, and the material is much less dense than the Disney ones we had purchased in the past. My son enjoyed some of the stories and themes a lot, but other nights the stories ended a little too quickly for his liking. The calendar is well constructed and wrapped.

This product is perfect for my toddler's son who loves Sesame Street. He loves reading books especially Sesame Street books.

I loved the way my child looked at the cover of the advent calendar. It's very eye catching.My little 5 month old LOVED every story I read to him. Especially day 3. So enjoyable and a lovely bonding activity to do.

Cutest Sesame Street advent calendar perfect for small kids if you don’t want to go down the candy route!! Each day you open one new book to read! We are on day 5 and both my 4 and 2 year olds love it!! They get so excited to open the new book before bed each night! Wish I found this when my oldest was younger!!

結論から言うと、買って良かった！全て英語ですが、子供(おそらく幼児～小学校低学年)向けなので簡単な単語、分かりやすい内容、読みやすい長さの本ばかりです。毎日寝る前に一つずつ本を取り出して読む、というルーチンが自然とでき、子供たちも布団にはいるのを楽しみにしてくれるようになりました。クリスマスが終わると共に全て読み終わってしまいましたが、子供たちはツリーと一緒にしまって、また来年読むのを楽しみにしているようです。おすすめの一冊です。

Unlike some advents this one has all the books related to Christmas which is nice. Its a gift for my grandaughter so it hasn't been opened yet be the books feel like that are hard cover and if the graphics are half as nice on the books as the advent box she will be excited. Very happy so far
