These decals are as described, but the instructions for their installation (see picture) are, to say the least, daunting. You should know that in order for the text of the decal to light up, you must remove (scrape off) all the old button's material from the affected area. They recommend using an exacto knife and to leave 1/8" or a little more from the edge if possible. The fan button on my 2011 535i BMW has wear on half of it (the small fan icon is gone and a white blob remains). The other half is fine. Rather than go the trouble of preparing the surface of the button and following the other installation instructions, I've opted to forget the whole thing. You may have more wear to deal with and be more willing to tackle this project than I was.
