Update 06242024: Continuing to love this top. I’ve bought mid-tone blue, light pink, dusty rose, dusty amethyst, Kelly green, beige, dark brown. At this time l have worn and washed each several times and all are ready to go in the closet, no ironing, right out of the dryer.This is a very comfortable, versatile top.About the colors available, well, I never thought I would like dark brown. But at the moment it’s my favorite. Each shirt I’ve purchased, whatever color, works out to be an excellent layering option. I think it has something to do with the many subtle mid-tones colors offered.Early June 2024:Yes, lightweight, but I was so surprised when my order arrived… This woven shirt’s substantial, classic, tailored-top, cotton-poly blend means the garment will shape itself to fit the body as 1. its designer intended, and 2. stand up to repeated wear and washings. I haven’t seen a quality fabric in a garment like this for a while!(FYI: On the first round of washing, at the end of the dryer cycle, the shirt came out a bit softened, compared to original, and had the most minor wrinkling. No hint of pilling. Most def, I’m not going to bother ironing it.)Now regarding garment design, where the shirt is cut loosely, it stands off the body a bit to give ease, look good, and feel good. And where cut closer, its darts, tucks, bends, seams, and details are feminine and flattering.And though this shirt is over-sized, it is quite feminine. Shoulder cut, wrist details, seaming are flattering as is its small lapel size. For those a larger than me (I’m 5’3”, 120 lb), this shirt might be useful as a one-layer option.Why? The generous cut of this shirt lends itself to being styled many ways…tie it up at the waist, half-tuck it, belt it, jewelry it at the neckline, layer it… And beyond that, the garment’s straight, front button placket, from neck opening to garment bottom, means its neckline can be styled as desired for modesty. (And these days, I looking more often for that option! OMG, I’ve getting old!)On me, the small size is too long to be worn as a one-layer piece. But in my region, it is perfect, perfect, perfect as a summer over-shirt. So perfect I bought two and am eyeing a third and a fourth.

I now have a black and white. The length is great for me, I am 5’6. I like that it tapers slightly at the waist so it while it is slightly oversized it is not boxy. I ordered my usual size. It needs a little attention after washing, I can get by with some Downy wrinkle release sprays if I take it slightly damp from the dryer otherwise it may need a quick steam or press. I usually buy Chicos no iron blouses which require no extra care, But given these are $50 less I can deal with it.

Great shirt, love the look and the fit. Perfect as an overshirt. The only drawback, and the reason I will not be buying more, is that they are not no iron or wrinkle free. Wash and hang dry and then iron out the wrinkles. Was looking for a no iron shirt for travel. Sadly this will not fit the bill.

Please note that the way this blouse is cut is not for everybody. This was hard to see on the Amazon website photos, until after the blouse was delivered and I went back & carefully looked at the photos again. There was no mention of sleeve description in the write-up. The blouse is cut bizarrely in the shoulders/upper sleeves. It’s more raglan-sleeve type. There is no shoulder seam and it’s quite bulky under the arms and at the top of the sleeves. There’s a seam around the sleeve about one-third of the way down from the shoulder, and then the rest of the sleeve is quite narrow. It was not flattering on me — too much fabric under the arm, so I’m returning it. The blouse is Made in Turkey. It does look rather cheaply made, but then again it only costs $24, so don’t expect quality at that price. I liked that it was 70% cotton and only 30% polyester. I ordered the royal blue and while it was a nice blue color, it was nowhere near true royal blue. Closer to a Dutch blue. I usually can wear only petite sizes and have rather short arms, even petite sleeves are often too long for me. However, these sleeves in regular sizing were the perfect length for me, so if you tend to have longer arms, the sleeves may be too short. But you can always just roll them up. I hope this information is helpful.

I have purchased this blouse 11 times because it is one of the few button-ups that does not have a boxy fit. Somehow the cut manages to suggest a curve at the waist and it doubles nicely as a jacket in warm weather.To shed some light on the inconsistent reviews, I have noticed that a few of the colours ( especially the green) are made of cheaper looking fabric - can't figure out why as the label looks the same.They seem true to size - I'm5'4", 170 lb and have purchased both M and L, but the large is more comfortable as there is no stretch.It works in warm weather, but is not fully breathable. This style has definitely become a 'Go to" everyday work top for me. I'm a decorator and can easily accessorize to look suitable for work with either jeans or slacks , flats or heels.

Received this shirt today 3/2. Opened it up to look at it. Right away could see there was dirt or makeup on the collar. Pulled the shirt out and there were red and yellow stains down the shirt on the sleeve cuffs. It smelled majorly of perfume. It’s like someone wore it out all night and then took it off in the morning packed it and sent it to me. I did an immediate return. Could have at least washed the shirt thrown a little bleach in before sending it. Doesn’t deserve even a 1 star but had to put something..

Wanted to look trendy. This shirt is super cute easy to steam and fits perfectly with the sleeves rolled up over jeans shorts and a tank. Material is thin, but not cheap. Looking in the fit is great over an outfit.

I purchased the shirt because it was advertised as being oversized. I deliberately wanted a big over shirt look. Even though I bought the correct size based on the chart and description, instead of being big and flowing, the shirt was fitted. Very disappointing!
