good product
Have used for years, only thing i have gotten that helps manage my dry eye. A friends Doc in Florida recommended it and she passed it on. Wish it wasn't so expensive.

Be consistent!
My 3 year old has suffered with blepharitis and cystic chalazions for over a year. Her pediatrician and optometrist both prescribed antibiotics drops but were adamant that warm compression is her only options. It's EXTREMELY difficult to get a toddler to sit still with a warm towel applied to their eye! Needless to say those treatments were ineffective and would only drain the cysts temporarily. We've been using Cliradex for 2 months now and her eyes have returned to normal! No more cysts that swell to the size of english peas! Her upper lid had bald patches and are now completely filled out. She no longer has eye irritation and doesn't rub them for minutes at a time!We created a morning and night routine and it's worked well for us and I hope it helps someone else. After cleaning her lids I apply a dime sized squirt of Cliradex. Tap the top gently because it will dispense A LOT! I rub it on my clean fingers to melt the foam, then rub into her lid and lash line until dry. IT WILL CAUSE SLIGHT DISCOMFORT. She told me it hurt the first couple of times but never cried, so it should be tolerable to kids her age and adults. IT IS DRYING. To combat the dryness, I immediately apply unrefined cold pressed coconut oil and massage her eyes for a minute or so. Coconut oil has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. Using this in conjunction with the Cliradex have been the holy grail for us! This process took a month of consistency to see improvement before everything was completely gone. I now apply about 3 times a week for maintenance.

Does its job
I buy this product repeatedly. I first found it when it was recommended by my optometrist who specializes in dry eyes. It helps to unclog the oil glands on the lower lid (who knew we had oil glands on our lower lids). When I use it regularly, I can generally avoid getting a new sty on my eyelid. Also, if I haven't been using it regularly and start to get one, sometimes repeatedly using this product will unclog, and resolve the issue. That said it can sting a bit - not in the eye itself, but the tissue immediately around it. It's not doing any harm, but can be a bit uncomfortable. I keep a moist washable cotton pad handy when I use it to wipe the product off, and then rinse gently with water which then removes any stinging sensation.

Expensive but works
This product was recommended to me by my eye doctor. It is expensive, but it works.

Perfect
The foam is easy to use and doesn't sting at all. Does a nice job of cleaning my lashes. I'm using it first thing when I wake up, and then last thing before going to bed. First, I wash my eyelids and lashes with baby shampoo, keeping my eyes tightly closed, and then i use the foam for the lashes. It's perfect.

It really works! Just suck it up and use it!
Ok guys, to all of you who have been saying it stings. Yes, it's true. For me, the pain when applying the first 3 days or so was unbearable so I washed it off immediately afterwards with water. But the reason for chronic blepharitis are demodex mites, and you HAVE to kill them off in order for your skin to get better. Otherwise they will keep eating your face alive and your eyes will always be sore!So get ready for at least a week of intense burning during application - it only lasts 15-20 seconds anyway.THE ONLY REASON IT HURTS SO MUCH IS BECAUSE YOUR SKIN AROUND THE EYES IS FULL WITH TINY INJURIES FROM MITE BURIAL SITES AND BITES! And the only way to get rid of them, yes, is to kill them, by applying this every morning and especially at night (that's when they come out of the pores to mate). After about a 10 days of using this product, I suddenly realized something. Hey, it doesn't even sting anymore! What the...? Sure enough, my skin around the eyes finally got a break from those effing mites and started to repair itself. It is no longer sore and the product no longer stings. Not one bit!I have to say in the beginning, when my eyes were super sore, I also applied a panthenol gel for sensitive skin all over my eyelids and in the corners as well. Those were especially sore. I'm sure this helped heal my skin faster. But even if you don't do that, just be patient, keep on with your regime, use this and maybe even their wipes (which I think are easier to use, but more expensive). It's a process. You won't get better overnight. In fact, demodex go through 14-18 days life cycles, and the eggs can't be killed. So doctors recommend to use this for at least 4 months total to eliminate every trace of demodex around your eyes, even if you get better after just 2 weeks. After 4 months, just a maintenance treatment once a week or so will be enough to keep them at bay.I hope I could help someone else stick with the routine by reading this. At first I was scared to continue using it, because our bodies are trained to recognize anything that induces pain as something that is bad for us. But in this case, it really is worth it!

tingling and burning to my sensitive skin
This product was recommend by my optometrist for daily washing of my lids and eyelashes. It's very pricey! Followed the directions to rub the foam into a liquid and apply on closed eyes and skin. I did not have a liquid, just foam, so I used abit more than recommended (a dime-size). I had a very unpleasant tingling and slight burning to my eyelids and skin. I rinsed quickly with water. Tried it the next day, but with the same unpleasant tingling and burning. So I am not pleased with this product at all. I have dry skin and sensitive to many cleansers. I am going back to Biotrue cleaning wipes, which do not burn. I do not recommend this product for the price and results.
