Ancient Post-Flood History: Historical Documents That Point to Biblical Creation

Unusable for research
I bought this book for research, and was very disappointed. I like to be able to go back to the original sources when an author makes claims, but that is not possible with this book. For instance, he will say, "the information in this section comes from Josephus and Jasher." Well, which is it? And where in those books can I find the information so I can see for myself that it's being accurately portrayed?

Awesome Reference Guide
Love the timeline in the back of the book showing from Adam on down, including their ages and year of death. Fascinating!!!It took me a few months to finish due to toddlerism in my house, but I just finished it and think it's still fascinating! I've read some of the poor reviews, and everyone fancies themselves experts on history or Biblical knowledge, including the Dead Sea Scrolls. I don't know why this is the case when the author gave other accounts from non-Biblical sources to back up the material, even from different perspectives. What more do people want? The Bible references the book of Jasher, so why not dive into it? Just because 66 books make up the modern Bible, there was a time, during Constantine, where owning certain books of the Bible was punishable by death! No wonder they hid other manuscripts away! Posterity. I'm reading the Book of Enoch, and it doesn't sound/read like the Bible. It's more straight forward in our modern vernacular, unlike the versions of the Bible, which have gone through many languages from their original sources. This book was precise, short, and worth referencing. Very well done!

Don't waste your money to support this bunk
Where do I begin? First, he is very biased. He is not interested in examining sources and then looking at the possible answers. He has come up with a theory that he believes, then uses supposedly reliable sources to back up his claim. He claims his primary source is the Bible, yet the majority of his references are quotes from "The Book of Jasher" and Josephus. He claims that the book of Jasher is reliable because the Old Testament references it twice. Yet even a quick search reveals that there are two popular "Books of Jasher" that are easily disproven as frauds. It quickly goes downhill from there as he makes a sad attempt to "fill in the blanks" for the Bible. This book is just another example of people trying to find "new truths" to sell books.

It was Okay
I am really into creation science and Biblical archeology so I bought this book with great enthusiasm. I was really looking forward to a great read. The book is actually pretty boring. The author just writes things in a "matter-of-fact" way. No real story telling or flow to his presentation. It's really just a bunch of dry facts. This is the way he writes: "(Name) moved to southern Asia and that was how those people began" That's pretty much the entire book. There are some interesting things and that's why I gave it two stars.

Fascinating read
Except for the insertion of his personal thoughts/beliefs, which I found distracting and which did not contribute anything of value to the narrative, I think the author did a masterful job of leading the reader through the rise and fall of nations through the sons of Noah. This is a very well written, beautiful work that grabs and holds the reader's attention. It was very difficult for me to put it down. If you are a lover of history (ancient and modern), you will love this book!

Thankful reader
I didn't want it to end. What a great combination of historical documents, literature and humor. The Kindle version does not render the charts very well, so I ordered the paperback too. Great job, Ken!

Fascinating alternate history
The book has a non-evolutionary view of ancient history captured by ancient historians, normally set aside as myths by modern historians who begin almost all western history at the Roman Empire occupation along with the Catholic Church's takeover of all "Christian" worship practices. I found it very refreshing to not make excuses for alternate historical epics by well known ancient writers.

Great read full of interesting info.
I found this book difficult to read at first primarily due to the massive amount of reference material. Once I became more familiar with the way it was written, I could hardly put it down.

Excellent book
This book stands apart from many others because it provides easy access to everyday people to the ancient book of Jasher, which although not part of the bible, backs up facts recorded by the bible. This is a Jewish text from circa 1600BC with many copies still in circulation 0BC / 0AD and later. Ken shows that this book was held in high esteem by Jewish historians writing there acconts then. Copies still exist and Ken uses an English translation of it. Ken also includes short chapters on Celtic, Russian, Armenian and Egyptian histories adequate to show that the theme whereby further ancient written histories that also back up the Biblical and Book of Jasher are shown to have been in circulation. Extracts from these still exist in part. A very good book to spark anyone with an enquiring mind to start asking questions of their own and begin their own journeys of discovery.
