I wrote previously that these lights do not seal very well, after doing some more checking I think I was wrong, I think the screws that hold the lens cover on were not tight enough, so I've changed this review. Also the company went to a lot of effect to make it right by sending me 2 replacement ones, which I think is why its worthwhile giving them 4 or even 5 stars, after sales service is more important than the original sale.

I have purchased two. The amount of light and controlled area the LEDs show downward upon make this worth buying this second time. CHEAP to operate ! Light output does not shine straight out onto other people's eyes.

Used this for an address light on top of my entry door...At first it was too bright but then I removed the plastic clear glass cover and used some white spray paint good for plastic to coat the inside (one medium coat) and it diffused the light perfectly...

After searching for a while I’ve decided to move forward with these fixture and bought about 20 pieces.I’ve installed them on my dock a couple of months ago. Once wiring was completed they were easy to install and connect providing the amount of light exactly as I’ve expected. They are exposed to sun and rain and so far they have been performing great. I’m very happy for my choice.

Just as described very easy to install and brighter than I thought it would be . I installed it with a photocell so it comes on at dusk and off at sunrise.

I purchased 2 lights and installed them and I noticed one light had a few dead LEDs. It totally failed in 4 months. I purchased a new light in October but did not try to install it until April because of some other construction. when I opened the box and prepared for installation of the old unit, the led unit was missing. All I had was the base and the lens, no light unit. A total waste of money and now it is too late to return it. I can't believe that this level of quality control. I am so disappointed. Buyer beware!
