I was a little leary after seeing one too many brass colored aluminum key rings being passed off as real brass. But was most impressed when I started to distress them. These might be coated with an anti oxidizing coating like wax, as it resisted oxidation at first. A quick trip through the dishwasher fixed that, after which they oxidized upon a little bit of time and effort

I don't know that these are real brass. I was able to pull apart and break easily. Wouldn't recommend.

Loved it, worked as expected and are really sturdy. I used it for my keys and for my bum bag since the strap broke. Only down side was that it was really shiny and out shown all my other worn down brass. But that will fix itself.

I needed non magnetic key rings to go with my magnetic key ring set.

Great for my MRI keys!
