I used to buy from a brand (that will go unnamed in this review) who sells their Ecdysterone for $50 with only 30 servings. Can't believe I bought their Ecdy for four months before finding this product -- literally half the price and triple the serving size for the same exact supplement.

After reading that ecdysterone had been banned for some athletes based on recent efficacy research, I took a look at the relevant study and learned that it's a naturally occurring hormone in plants and insects that seems to support muscle hypertrophy, strength increases, and better protein synthesis among athletes, with no measured side effects (per the same research as well as other studies). I decided to give it a try about two months into working out regularly after returning to the gym (approx 3-5x/week) post pandemic. Within 1-2 weeks, I did notice sudden strength increases on squat and benchpress--and also experienced less fatigue and faster recovery post-workout. I've added it to my daily supplements and can report zero side effects in my case. While I have also gained some size (approx 5-8 lbs in 6 mos), it's hard to know whether it's the supplement that's bringing it or the workout and diet alone. Also, my strength (as measured by incremental lift increases) has plateaued somewhat after fairly quick gains early in my return to gym--just what I would've expected.Given the frequency and intensity of my workouts, I have no doubt that results from actual anabolics would have led to greater increases in size and strength (though I've never tried these due to legal and health considerations). Given no side effects, I'll take ecdy's apparent help with recovery and protein synthesis. In my opinion and experience, this supplement has been worth the try and I'll continue using it.

As of this review, I have used Earth Elixir's Beta Ecdysterone for about two months. I started out taking the lower dose (1-2 capsules per day) and have transitioned to the higher dose (3-4 capsules per day). During my workouts, I have seen increases in stamina, muscle pumps, strength, and power output. There have been no negative side effects to speak of, and while I have not had any blood work done, I believe my testosterone levels have also increased since taking this supplement.I had been plateauing on most of my major upper body lifts lately, and this supplement has helped me overcome that problem, adding pounds to my bench press, shoulder press, barbell row, etc. This is an excellent choice for the experienced lifter who has optimized their workouts and lifestyle but still need that little extra push.

I am a 72 year old ex-powerlifter just doing everything I can to maintain what strength I can. During my last lifting cycle (10 weeks) I actually added 10 pounds to my bench press. That hasn't happened in a long time. As a side note, I had been using several other supplements and had struggled to keep a 200 pound bench. The only difference in my regimen was the addition of the ecdysterone from Earth Elixir. I'm not sure how far I can take the gains, or even the maintenance at my age, but I intend to continue taking the supplement to find out.

I can confidently affirm that it lives up to the hype he was telling me about. Over the course of 10 weeks, I have experienced incredible pumps and noticeable improvements in my strength. I have been Progressively overloading like crazy no ego hypertrophy. Needless to say, I am thoroughly enjoying the results it has provided me.

I am 56 yrs young and exercise/eat right to stay healthy. I am also working out to see how good of shape I can get into at my age. I've done research on this product and a few others. Two days into taking it and feel more energetic and strong through my workouts. This is exactly what I have been looking for, a natural muscle repairing supplement. The price is very reasonable. Have been taking for a month now. My strength and endurance has gone up substantially. I have hit PRs in the weight room I have never hit. Before taking this I always wanted to do my workout and leave, now I always want to be in the gym because the amount of endurance I have is insane. Definitely will be buying everytime I run out.
