Good Idea
Didn't work for me cause system to hang or not boot had to return.

Doesn't work
I bought it so that I can access files on a parallel port zip drive. I had to remove the back plate on the PCI card so that it would fit the case. Windows 11 and the Win XP VM recognize the LPT port in device manager. But the zip drive does not show up in file explorer in either operating system. Funny, the zip drive showed up in my previous motherboard that had a built-in PCI slot. Don't know what the problem is. I may have to return.

May Not work with all mother boards
Could not get this to work with a HP EliteDesk 800 G2. Not recognized at all in device manager. tried using in a old Dell 755 and it works fine. Used PCI-Z to troubleshoot with out any luck getting it working. But since it was only a few bucks going to keep it for possible future use. Showed up as this in the Dell 755 - Bridge ASMedia Technology Inc. ASM1083/1085 PCIe to PCI Bridge.
