Good Brush Knife
I have been looking for a blade like this for awhile...….A small machete style blade that I can carry with me when cutting trees n brush with a chainsaw. This is perfectly sized for such work, the blade is big n heavy enough to generate good chopping power for dispatching small limbs n stuff.....yet not so big that it would get in the way when doing my primary work.... cutting trees. When using the chainsaw, I will just slide the Sequoia blade through my belt behind my back so it will be out of the way until I need it.....This blade is not the highest quality, yet it is PDG, which is pretty darn good.....is it 100$ good? That price point is just a bit high..... but for me it IS worth it because IT IS just what I was looking for, & IMO it will serve me well for years to come.I think the sheath could be nicer, but it will suffice..... in time it will soften up & I will likely love it by then :)IMO this is a blade made with brush work in mind....what other purpose could it more fittingly serve?I like the design on the side of the blade..... pretty cool really...After test cutting a few 2 in. thick branches, I can say this really IS a good brush knife.... the belly of the blade is large & curved just right to produce deep long cuts... the weight of the blade & spine thickness is just right for cutting through brush. All in all, I am happy enough to give it a full 5 Star rating :)and a quality product recommendation...BTW - the blade I received is as advertised with no defects... & is quite sharp!And.... this blade will be easy to KEEP sharp :)

Arrived with flaws, but still recommend!
I just received this knife, really love the design! Docking one star for 2 issues. The tip is bent over like it had stabbed a rock and rolled the edge for the top 1/4 inch. Also, similar to what others said, the leather sheath is extremely dry. It must have been stored somewhere dry for a long time (it shipped with a 2018 product catalog, this is 2021.)However, both issues are fixable.I like the design enough to overlook the flaws. The handle is supremely comfortable, love the micarta. The edge arrived sharp, but not shaving sharp. No rust.

Big sharp and beautiful
A very well balanced knife considering it's size, it will draw attention due to artwork and it's physical bulk. It is light considering all those factors, it has a larger handle than most which allows it to be used in both chopping or more concentrated tasks. I am a smaller guy so I kinda look like Chucky with a demonic butchers knife but that has its pros, mine came hair shave sharp so be careful. I like 1075 for field knives due to its ability to sharpen easy or repair edge, the spine is 90° edge for the ferro rod lovers and is a tree bark monster. Because of the huge belly it lends itself to skinning and tasks most knifes can do but not easily, it is thin machete type blade but in no way flimsy. I love mine but I do admit to a bit of a first look shock kinda like blind date before you realize the person is just fantastic to hang out with, a very useful nice looking knife.

Incredibly terrible quality control.
I JUST got this and opened the package. How the hell did Condor let this pile of junk get through quality control? Its unforgivable the amount of rust that's on the blade, the chips and rolls in the blade edge, scratches and even the sheath is frayed up and looks almost cut. I've loved condor for a long time but this is unforgivable and I cant believe Condor let this through. Hopefully if you order this knife you wont get raw dogged by Condor like I did.

Versatility with 1 tool option.
I love this knife! I have much more expensive knives with far superior steels, however if I were stuck in the bush with this as my only tool I’d be very appreciative of it. It chops great, batons so-so, super easy to sharpen (even with a rock if need be), the handle feels comfortable in different holds, and the sheath is perfectly functional (although the handle protrudes a lil more than I’d like)... Add it all up and it’s an excellent tool. Worth the money IMO.

If you have the same uses in mind that I did, it's well-designed for them.
When I'm out in the brush, my constant frustration has been trying to find a knife that's small enough and light enough both to carry on a belt all day and to do some finer cutting and whittling, yet substantial enough to do chopping and trail-clearing tasks. Full-on machetes are too bulky and annoying to carry on your belt, and obviously you can't do any finer cutting with one. With this knife you can. It's a very thoughtful design, in that it hybridizes chopping and cutting functions. This makes it very versatile. Blade steel is very easy to sharpen; I had it shaving sharp with a few passes on a garden variety honing steel. I'm partial to Micarta scales, and this one is large enough and plenty grippy. It's a well-thought-out knife overall.Only negatives are that it's made in El Salvador, which means the mark-up on it must be substantial at this price point. Also the scales could have used a bit more finish grinding.

Very sharp knife
I’m always like a good durable knife. In this by far a well done made perfect balance in your hand for many tasks. Thanks Matt Graham. For your creation. 👍

This thing is even more beautiful that it looks in pictures
Just,,,,wow. This thing is even more beautiful that it looks in pictures. Deep belly, sharp point, sharp as a razor, and incredibly comfortable in the hand, The pouch style belt sheath is well made, though the leather is a tiny bit thinner than I thought it would be, Regardless,t it works fine. I'm a HUGE Condor fan, and they knocked this one out of the park.
