These may cost a little more than the other similar products out there, but these are awesome! Very easy to install. It takes all of 5 minutes. They are very sturdy, good looking, and 100% functional. Two thumbs way up from me. I would definitely buy these again. P.S. My closet already had the units with pre-drilled holes, so install was a breeze.

I had previously asked a question about whether you needed a proprietary shelving system to install this or was it suitable for installation on a standard stud/drywall surface. The answer is it will work on a conventional wall. I hit one stud on the corner (obviously) and wasn't so lucky on the second attachment but used a drywall anchor with no problem. I am very impressed with the weight, the finish, the easy installation (2 screws - yet 4 were provided) and the extension feels solid like it could carry a fair amount of weight at full extension. I had been concerned that there would be some 'play' on the extension rod when extended but the fit is tight.I'm very pleased and so is the Mrs.Easily 5 stars.

I first saw this product in a closet while we were staying at an Airbnb home and I thought it would be a great addition to my own closet at home. It is sleek and modern looking. The metal is of good heavy quality and no issues to date, although I will admit I have only had it for a few months. However, I do not anticipate any problems but will update things if something should go wrong.My biggest reason for writing the review is the customer service. When I ordered this product, like many people, I did not get around to installing the unit until I had time. When I finally opened the package, I found that one of the mounts was missing and of course it was after Amazon's return policy had ended. I contacted the company through Amazon and Laine the customer service rep reviewed my issue. I wanted to see if I could at least purchase the mount, since it was unique to the product, and not something that could be easily found at a hardware store. After about a week of Q&A she sent out a replacement mount free of charge which was unexpected and much appreciated. Had to give a shout out for the extra effort, in addition to creating such a great product. Thank you!

This valet rod is sturdy and very easy to install. Unlike similar products that require drilling holes into closet walls or have fixed distances between mounting points, this one has a clever design with two independent brackets that can be mounted any distance apart, up to about 12” for the 14” model. The brackets fit perfectly into the pre-drilled holes used for closet shelves and are secured with included short screws. Longer wood screws are also included if you don’t have pre-drilled holes. After screwing in the brackets, simply slide the valet tube through and lock it in place with a small hex-head screw. The installation took only about 5 minutes, although I probably took an additional 10 minutes for measuring and picking the perfect spot. The pull-out portion slides out effortlessly for hanging clothes and then back in when not needed. It's a great product for conveniently hanging clothes temporarily.

Easy installation. Fit just the way I thought it would. Love getting my outfits ready and hanging for the next day.

Make sure to measure your closet . I have different depth sizes in my closet and I need 4 more 2 of them don't go far out enough we had to drill on the wood. But the product itself is nice. Make sure to measure the depth of your closet

Have been looking for a solution, as to where to hang my clothes, after ironing or picking out OOTD. Well, here it is! While I do have a customized closet and room to hang/store all my clothes, I love to use this valet rod-to hang clothes that I have either set aside to wear, keep unwrinkled or to hang while steaming. Be creative as to where to hang yours. I found the brackets too bulky when mounted on sides, taking up valuable storage space, so I ended up mounting underneath. Very solid and well-built.

I was expecting this to be a flimsy plastic item like ClosetMaid's tie rack or so many other items that call themselves chrome but are really made of plastic. This was not cheap plastic. This is actually made of metal, and surprisingly sturdy. Installation took less than 10 minutes and all you need is a screwdriver and the included Allen wrench. It comes with 2 mounting brackets that you can easilyscrew into ANY closet system that has pre drilled holes. (I have an Easy Closet system.) The placement of the brackets is not fixed so you do not have to worry if your holes are 5 inches apart or 10 inches. It will work. Alternatively, you can drill holes and/or install it in drywall (with anchors/mollies if you don't have a stud to anchor the screws). Installation is very versatile. After mounting the brackets, you simple slide the pole through the holes in the brackets, then tighten with an Allen wrench to secure it.The slide out pole is quite sturdy and I am confident it will hold several outfits while packing for trips. I plan to purchase more of these. One for me laundry room and another for my closet. They are less expensive than the ones offered by Easy Closets, plus free shipping with Amazon Prime and easy to install. Highly recommend.

This Pull Out Valet is exactly what I have been looking for. The 14" more than meets my needs. Easy to install. Great for hanging garments when ironing or putting an outfit together.
