AUTIDEFY LCD Digital Aquarium Thermometer Fish Tank Water Terrarium Temperature (3 Pack)

When I got the package I noticed that all three thermometers where on already. I have no clue how long these have been on (since they where manufactured?) or how much battery life is left. The power button is one of those soft rubber buttons (kind of like your tv remote) and they are really hard to turn on or off. You have to press rather and hold for a few seconds, and the amount of force needed make me scared of breaking it. The he only time I need them to be turn off is when there just spare units; if they are in my aquariums they are on all time so not a huge deal. They should put that little pull tab under the battery so its fresh.

I use this product for handwarming. Works great for me!

Those dumb stick-on strips or suction thermometers are useless. You need a DIGITAL thermometer for every tank. I have one for each tank, plus (at this price!) extras, and one to indicate the temp of the water I'm adding. I'm a nano tank only (29, 20,10 and 5 gallon) so I can't risk raising/lowering the temps in these tanks with drastic water changes. They have to have the same tank temp water that I just removed. If you have a 150 gallon tank, it may not mean so much; if you have a 5 gallon Betta tank, and your' changing 1/2 the water, it's critical the temp is spot-on! You don't want to shock/stress your fish. Note: if you have a 5 gallon tank, you need to be more aware of what temp/parameters you have than if you have a 55 gallon. Counter intuitive I know; but the more water, the more "spread out" the problem.

Only 1 of my thermometers works and the temperature is off a little. I specifically bought this product for both thermometers. The suction cup on the thermometer that does work won’t stick.

For fish tanks, I just use the cheap thermometer stickers, but this is much more accurate. If you need to know the temperature of the inside of an insulated tank this is a great solution. I use them for hydroponic growing. They are affordable and the batteries last a while. I even dropped one in water for a minute and it kept working once I dried it out.

I used these for 20+ reptiles and a fish tank, for 2 years and I liked them. They work well with my desert enclosures, anything with too much moisture, and they got fried after about 2 months sometimes less. But while they did work, they worked well and I when used a heat gun to compare temps.

I bought the 3 pack. Out of the package and into my aquarium. I put all the probes together. They've had an hour to stabilize. One reads 80.1, the second reads 79.7, and the third reads 79. I feed one degree between the three isn't horrible, but not what I had hoped for.

I placed the probes in my tank next to each other and discovered that there is a 2-degree F difference between them. Very poorly made.An addendum: I bought 2 more and compared all four. None of them showed the same temperature, there was a 6-degree F difference between the four of them. Completely useless.
