Acoustic Audio PSW12 Home Theater Powered 12" Subwoofer Black Down Firing Sub

At first, I was hesitant to make this purchase for my home theatre, but I'm so glad I did! I actually wanted it to replace my 75w Sony subwoofer that I'd purchase some years ago. After performing the "woofer crawl" (YouTube it) to find the the best place to put the subwoofer in the room, my living room was covered with deep bass that blended directly in with the system. But much deeper, fluid, louder than my 75 watt. In fact the base was so deep and room filling I actually had to lower my bass settings in my receiver!! I LOVE it !I was a little nervous about buying downfiring subwoofer AND the fact that I later discovered ACOUSTIC AUDIO also has a Home theater series (RWSUB12) and a Cinema Series (CSPS12) of this same speaker. I looked at the specs and oddly found no difference. But, being the skeptic I am, I at least wanted to see if this Audiophile Series would let me down...and It DIDN'T! I don't know what the other series accommodate.... but this one is so impressive! Enjoy! Happy with Purchase!

Is a little smaller the expected being a 12" woofer but sounds good.

This replaced a failed Sony front firing sub woofer. It worked when set up but gad some buzz sound at high levels of the input, I took the old sub(Sony) to the bedroom and it was just sitting there. I decided to hook it up to a different receiver and the Sony sub worked. So back to my main system and started checking wires. I found the coaxial(sub) was not plugged in tight. Had a 1 into 2 splitter supplied with the sub. NOW it sounds great. Good lows and you can feel it.

This sub is amazing...talk about watching movies and hearing that sub kick in with sounds that would not be heard through normal speakers. I like the volume and db controls, it really helps in matching the sound bar that I have and creating that real cinema effect..

This was a repeat purchase as I have a 10" version for the sound system on my computer. I purchased the 12" version for my living room for TV and stereo. It has great clean bass with plenty of power. I am very satisfied with the sound of it. I have tried other brand subs and this the best sound for the money as this sound as good or better that subs costing twice a much.

If you like bass do not buy this. My old 8 with no amp was much better. Most of the time cant even tell it's on. Will be going in the trash. Waste of money.

Yo se que en el video no se puede apreciar al 100% la gran calidad de el sonido que estas bocinas de bajo proporcionan al sistema de música y en especial a mi Home Thather Sistem pero Acoustic Audio es una espectacular adición a mi sistema y la única forma de comprobarlo es obteniendo una solo así podrás experimentar el desempeño Extremo de estas bocinas, su calidad y potencia son sin duda grandiosos. Tan solo con aumentar el volumen de mi sistema del 60 al 70% las paredes de mi casa vibran y no es una exageración en realidad estoy sorprendido con el desempeño y la fuerza en sonido de estas espectaculares Bass speakers. Puedo decir muchos detalles más de Acoustic Audio pero la única forma de experimentar la gran calidad de sonido extremo es obteniendo una y como pueden ver en el video yo obtuve 2 de ellas debido a su gran calidad y sin mencionar su sofisticado diseño y la calidad de su materia las hace lucir como si fueran parte de mis muebles.

Great speaker for the price. Sounds really good with my seven other speakers.
