Oh My Gosh ! For under Eleven Dollars, I was able to get my BBQ Grill Back to brand new performance. This regulator solved all of my frustrations that I had been having with my grill. I had actually given up and stopped using my BBQ grill before I found this wonderful regulator and hose assembly. When my BBQ Grill would no longer light, I took the tank to get it filled and the guy who was filling them told me that my tank is already full. He said he could not put any more fuel in it. I scratched my head wondering what could be wrong. I asked him if the valve on the tank was bad and he said no. Fuel would not go in or come out if the valve was bad, he said. I took the tank home, hooked it up and jiggled the old hose and regulator assemble. After jiggling and twisting the hose, the grill finally lit up again. Hooray ! But every time afterwards, it would not light. It really became a pain to twist and jiggle the hose to try and get it to light and to have fuel flow from the tank to the burners. I got so frustrated that I gave up and stopped using my nice Stainless Steel BBQ Grill. It just would not light any more. But this year, I vowed to lose weight and I knew that grilling my chicken and fish would be a great start to eating healthy. So I was determined to fix my BBQ Grill. Suspecting that my problem may be the regulator and hose assembly (because jiggling and twisting the hose seemed to get it to work once-upon-a-time), I went on Amazon and searched for a low pressure regulator and hose just out of curiosity to see what one would possibly cost. I was amazed and how economical this assembly was priced. When I found this regulator and hose assembly for under Eleven Dollars, and after measuring my hose with a tape measure finding that it was similar in length (24 inches) to this regulator by Shinestar, I knew that it was worth it to take a chance for so little money to see if changing this regulator and hose would cure my grilling ignition and fuel problems. The regulator and hose assembly came quickly within 2 days and as soon as it arrived from Amazon, I went outside in the winter dusk and installed my new purchase to see if this was my problem. And I was so happy to find that the grill ignited with full flame on the first attempt. All 3 Burners worked flawlessly. I was thrilled. My grilling problem was now fixed with what appears to be a high quality product for under 11 dollars. The hose has a fiber reinforcement within the rubber to give it strength. The connectors are well made and the threads on the brass fitting were smooth and easy to turn onto the burner pipe by hand. The large plastic nut that screws onto the propane tank went on smoothly and tightened up with only hand pressure. Today I just used my grill again, only one day after receiving this new regulator and hose assembly and my entire grilling session went flawlessly from beginning to end. This regulator would have cost me two or three times more at a Home Improvement store and I would have had to pay tax and drive to the home center and hassle the crowds. This regulator from Amazon was delivered to my door in 2 days and there was no tax. What more could I (or you) ask for ? The grill that I installed this Regulator and hose assembly onto was a CHARMGLOW Stainless Steel BBQ Grill that I purchased from Home Depot. The model number is 720-0230 but I am sure this regulator and hose will fit most ALL modern grills that are being purchased these days. My grill is 5-7 years old (I think). So in summary, if your grill is not lighting and you know that you have a full tank of fuel, then it is worth the chance to try this regulator and hose. I figured that if it did not fix my problems, I would just return it as Amazons return policy is wonderful. Needless to say, I do not need to return it and am so thankful that I was able to fix a grill that I gave up on for under 11 dollars. I HIGHLY recommend this product. [...]

Works great on my Weber grill. The oem line didn't last to long so I bought this as a replacement and it works great.

My propane heater would leak giving off that terrible odor that they mix into the propane. I took the whole bloody thing apart and power washed it and put it back together. I had put soapy water on all connections and could not find the leak. it was so frustrating. THEN when I was taking the tank off again to finish putting it back together, i saw a leak on the back side of the fitting that connects the hose from the tank to the hose on the heater! I ordered this part and installed it which by the way replaced an older version that you needed wrenches to tighten to tank. This one has the larger fitting that is hand tightened only. VOILA! leak gone just in time for first week of fall type weather up here in the Colorado Rockies.
