At $10 a piece they’re a bit pricey, but they WORK. And work well. Made from well crafted stainless steel they snap neatly inside the lip of the nespresso pod. Once you have your grind dialed in (I use a burr grinder a couple of clicks up from espresso grind) you’ll see very little residue or grinds in your coffee. You still get excellent froth, or crema I think they call it. And they rinse out very easily too. I have made dozens of cups with these so far and they have not interfered with my machine and consistently make great cups of coffee.

These simply do not work. I bought two of these last year and they were wonderful. I needed to have more so when I have company I am not left standing there filling pods. To my dismay the machine would not even start with these new discs. I got a message almost immediately after I received them telling me to do this and that to make them work. I just followed the instructions I received with the machine dubious that I might break the machine (I’ve read on here that some machines break with these new discs). Total waste of time. Don’t know why they changed things. Great company but need to return to older style discs.

We got the VIVI SKY reusable stainless steel caps 5 days ago and have been using them every day and we both love them! We have the DeLonghi ENV135S Nespresso Vertuo machine and it works Great. It will save you a lot of money reusing the Nespresso pods plus you can use your favorite coffee. It works the same as the Nespresso pods with lots of crema! . My only complaint would be it is a little difficult to remove the cap since it fits so perfectly. I use an 1/8" thick plastic pic to remove the cap by putting it in the center hole and it comes off very easy without any damage to cap or capsule.

I love how easy this product is to use and clean! With times the way they are, we needed to cut costs where we could, and this product allowed us to continue using our favorite coffee maker, but use our own coffee. We saved close to $200 a month just by not having to buy delicious but EXPENSIVE sleeves of coffee. The quality of coffee tastes better because of the money we saved! The price pays for itself, as one lid costs around two sleeves of coffee.

Thought this was the answer to reusing the Nespresso pods ($1 each is too much!). But, this cap makes a very concerning noise when in operation. I don't use it because I am concerned it is damaging the machine. Sticking with the silicone cap and paper filter.

Easy to use, intuitive and once you figure out the perfect amount of beans, the coffee is delicious every time. I highly recommend this product!
