This book is a great reference with very large, easy to read graphics. My daughter tried to read it like a music score while playing but that confused her, so she would look at it once or twice for reference and then look down only at the keyboard and play the scales. It's probably too much to expect from a small production book like this but lay-flat binding (spiral or other) would make it perfect - we have to use a music book page holder to keep it open. Still, it's totally worth the money.

These have been very helpful for a semi beginner like me who is also very visual. I especially appreciate they don't take away from the elegance of our new piano.

Scales are essential and this book is a handy tool for tesching fingering. A good refresher, too.
