How many of these colors are pure pigments and  how transparent are these colors?

I purchased this set of 48 Amsterdam watercolors last year. I have to say they are lovely. Highly lightfast and transparent. Only 7 colors on this palette are granulating. 32 colors are transparent, and 16 are semi-transparent. 29 colors are single pigments. You might find helpful to visit the paints website. They have a chart in English, where you be able to get useful information regarding each color paint properties.

Are half pans regular size or smaller?

I measured the Rembrandt half pans--they are 1/2 x 5/8". Hope this helps.
