The QRepublik Medical ID Sleeve for the watchband of most Men & Women's watches is really nice...
The media could not be loaded. The QRepublik Medical ID Sleeve for the watchband of most Men & Women's watches is really nice...It is small and cute and adorable. The problem I have with this device is that the part that needs to be scanned is rubbery plastic and I am not sure that since it is not metallic how long it will actually last as the part that is actually scanned is on the bottom and has contact with the skin of the watch wearer almost all of the time the watch is being worn. The there is the fact that the watch has to be taken off for the ban to be scanned as the QR code is on the bottom and not the top and it can't be rotated very easily and it would be a lot easier to just removed the watch to scan the QR code. It is a really nice device that just need some tweaking to be made better. The online process to fill out the information is very easy for anybody with basic computer/internet skills. It could still if used properly help in save your life in a medical emergency. QRepublik makes other similar devices, with very similar price points, that do the same job and do it better that I would highly recommend more. This is the smallest device I have seen that QRepublik makes and if the small, almost unnoticeable, size is more important, than ease of use when being read, than this is the device you will want to buy.Good day & God Bless...Randall M. Peace of mind
The good:The silicone piece is small and flexible so I can’t feel it on my watch band at all.It has an obvious MedID label and clear instructions to flip it over for information. The website was pretty straightforward to set up and there is a free or paid version to choose from.Once using the QR code emergency personnel have the option to immediately send a notification to your emergency contacts.Even my less common illness was on the long list of diseases to choose from in the free addition. The bad:The website is not a US based site which always leave concern for potential information breaches.Website also asks for social security number but it is not required. The medication list requires you to start typing and then choose the matching option which for me it did not always have a match.I feel much better knowing that I have this and have already flaunted it to my coworkers so they know it’s there in case of emergency. Well worth the price to have that peace of mind.

A little to large for my Fitbit band for my taste
You can put a lot of information in y our account on line. I am a little leery of putting all my medical and personal information into another online database. If you do not mind putting all your medical information online in the QRepublik database then maybe this is for you. Personally it is a little too big for my Fitbit Charge 2 band and I don't like the way it looks and stands out on my arm. I wear a small medical alert necklace with pertinent information and my wife's contact number.• Name (required)• Last name (required)• Middle name• Gender (required)• Birthday (required)• Blood type (required)• Region• Current City (required)• Postal code• SSN• An email address (required)• Phone• Hair color• Eye color• Height• Weight• Organ donor• Billing information *EXTRA ServiceHere is the information you can add:Personal dataDiseasesInsurance InformationEmergency Contact PointsAllergiesAttending physiciansProceduresLaboratory ResearchVaccinationMedicinesMedical digital documentsResponsible PersonsAdditional InformationPregnancyPersonal dataSpecial categories of personal data*RaceNationalityHealth statusBiometric Personal Data**Biometric Personal Data

I could not set up an account. Would not let me clear input info. I might try again.
I could not sign up! I was first trying to figure out who ws Q Republik before I gave out personal information. I really could not find any reviews about them, but I decided to just stop being so paranoid. So I began making an account on my phone, but after the first page it was asking me for my credit card information... I also saw other company advertising on this page, and I knew I needed to be careful about unchecking boxes for things I do not want contact with... Then I decided, I really do not want to give out my credit card number, even though they said it was free, and the card number was only for GPS....? What? Something wasn't right. Also, it would not scroll to the correct country, and I couldn't get rid of my input! So basically I did not set up an account... then I went to my computer to straighten stuff out... then I saw an option that I could set up using my FB account. Fine! Well, it wouldn't let me do that! Then I went back with what I started on my phone with and it told me my email was already in use... but, becasue I never gave them my credit card number I did not successfully set up an account! I will now probably have to find a phone number on them and fix this with a person, if they exist. All I wanted to do was give the usual contact info and upload my medical history. It didn't need to go this sour. It is a good idea, but not for me I guess!
