Works well for the price. It usually doesn't remember what feature (sound, vibrate, shock) I used last but the batteries last very well. It has two channels for if you are training more than one dog. Good all around electric collar. :)

Great training collar. And the remote can work up to two collars. We have three dogs, but only two need this. So we use one remote for both. One log is a 70 lbs lab, fits perfectly. The second dog is 40 lbs breed and it was a bit big on him. So we sewed it up and it's working like a charm.

I have a dog no one wanted because she's deaf! she is a pretty white Australian Sheppard. Then collar has help me train her quick she got hit by a car from running away huge vet bill later I purchased. Now she doesn't run off if she does a little buzz and she comes running back to me!! My dog doesn't react to this at all. Even cranked up all the way he seems immune. I've tried it on myself and it seems like it works. He's not big, or particularly thick skinned or has a heavy coat. He's skinny. Its possible that the collar cannot be tightened enough around his neck to work but that is still a problem with the collar as I can't tighten it any further. The instructions are poor. Its cheaply made. The flashlight is a joke. Frankly the whole thing is a POS

It functioned correctly but the shock status was extremely poor. Even at the 100 level in the shock mode it was imperceptible to the dog. No effect at all. The vibrate mode didnt work at all. I returned the item for a refund.
