Have to use for hubby and these are great

My wife has chronic leg abscesses that sometimes encircle her legs in large and small spot. This product is goopy and drives me nuts, BUT . . . it sticks to her legs top and bottom while I get the dressings ready to apply. Adaptic, while wonderful in itself, falls right off any abscess that's not on top. Why use it? Her skin is so brittle from previous damages that to pull even a soaked dressing off a healing abscess pulls regrowing tissue with it. This lessens that possibility tremendously. Plus the petroleum aids in keeping the wound healthy.

These will save you a lot of pain

I had a cat bite turn into a nasty infection and 6 surgeries is 5 weeks. When I left the hospital I was told to cover the stitches with Xeroform and gauze daily but finding Xeroform was impossible. The his was delivered quickly, easy to use and worked better than Xeroform

Seems very expensive for gauze and petroleum jelly but otherwise a very good product. Worked very well on my wound.

The petroleum gauze paired with plain gauze and wrapped around my leg worn elastic bandage helped, as I am allergic to tape. I used it for two weeks and my wound healed. It’s a little messy to apply it the result was worth it.

Does NOT cause pain, keeps guaze and other things from sticking to open surgical areas/ wounds/ burn victims. I have been ording since June 2023. The only thing that sucks medical supplies especially this one cost keeps going up when you have to use 1-3 boxes a month. Again it's absolutely perfect except the price.

Easy to use

This product contains several, individually packaged double sheets of gauze thoroughly soaked with petroleum jelly. The individual packaging keeps the gauze sanitary and clean and the petroleum jelly is perfect for preventing gauze from adhering to the wound and protects the wound, which helps it heal faster. I used these after cutting off a part of my thumb (non emergency but still significant), changing the gauze and bandages as needed, and they worked wonderfully. I cannot recommend these enough for anyone else in my situation.
