Beef collagen. This is not a natural casing (intestine), rather manufactured from beef collagen.

If i'm making a small batch how can i store leftover hydrated casing? or can i cut length before using?

You can cut what you need before hydration. Once it's hydrated, I don't know that you could store it for long.

Can i used it to boil?

yes. however you'd better control the temperture before boil.These are my favorite casings to use making sausage. Grill, fry, boil.
