TOMSMen's Alpargata Loafer Flat

My teenage son and husband both wear a men's 14 shoe, so finding shoes that are available in their size, let alone affordable and well made, can be an absolute nightmare. I was looking for a pair of simple, basic, canvas deck style shoes for my son to wear during summer as an alternative to open toe sandals or heavy sneakers. I was amazed when I found these. I'd heard good things about Toms, so I was very excited to find a size 14 on sale! They fit my son wonderfully, and seem to be true to size. They're understated but very nice looking, so they're appropriate for a wide variety of activities, and they look very well made, so as long as he doesn't get another growth spurt, I expect him to get at least a good couple of years wear out of them. The sole is nice and thick, so they seem pretty durable. They're slip on, so super easy for him to shove his feet in and go, with a good size opening for plenty of airflow around the ankle. He says they're really comfortable, too. There's a decent arch support, but the sole might be too firm for someone with very tender feet.Overall, we're extremely happy with them!

The quality has improved over the years, I love the rubber sole it allows for better slip resistance. Cleaning is simple. And I love the minimalistic look on my feet. They fit true to size, and are very flexible.

Purchased for my bf for his birthday because he liked my own pair of Tom's. Fit was perfect, he's a 10.5 and I ordered a 10.5. He loves the color, black, but there are other options. He loves the style and he loves the feel. Most comfortable shoes ever!

I love these shoes. They are comfortable, unique and made well. They do run slightly smaller, as my shoe size is 10.5 and they are a little tight on my toes, as far as length. I’m going to size up to an 11!

I love these shoes for work, they go with everything! I just wished they lasted a little longer, I have to replace them after about 6 months. But I wear them pretty much 5 days a week so I guess I’ll take it.
