This is the gold standard for acoustic panels for a reason. It Works great, looks great, and has held up nicely for several years now. It cuts nicely, doesn't snag or run when cutting and stapling, is incredibly sonically transparent, and you can't see through it at all. My darn cats have climbed up and down them a few times and I don't have any snags from their claws. I posted about the actual performance and build of my acoustic panels on Gearspace (look up fluffy r30 broadband absorption and go to the third page if you want to geek out on design and performance). I have also used Vintage Poly Burlap for acoustic panels, which is a bit less durable, tends to snag when stapling (or due to cat claws) and isn't quite as sonically transparent. This Guilford of Maine stuff is better, and the prices reflect that. It's a fair price though -- I haven't seen any better deals for normal prices.

First off, the fabric is great. No issues with the material whatsoever. I have an issue with the length of my second order. I made 2 orders in the 2 prior years to build some bass traps. The first time I ordered one yard. It was the perfect length and width for one bass trap. I had premade 5 whole bass traps due to the materials I had. So I ordered 5 more yards. After all this time with the amount of events happening, I'm finally getting around to cutting the fabric for the traps to find out I have enough for 3. It's very simple math to figure out 5 yards equal 180 inch's, not 150 inch's. Because I waited so long to write this, I feel it's too late to demand the extra yards I'm owed. Just keep this in mind when ordering from this supplier.

Top quality fabric. My wife is a seamstress, she thought the price matched the quality. I was worried that I didn't order enough, They sent a bit extra. The finished product sounds great and looks great. If you are going to spend the time and effort to make sound panels this stuff is a great way to cover them.

I used it to cover rock fiber insulation to absorb sound. It looks nice.

A bit expensive, and the seller wouldn't ship to an APO address, but the quality is good and the color is just what I expected.
