Worth it
When I first opened the product, the screen was broken and wouldn’t turn on—even though it had been stored safely in the box. I was really disappointed at first, but customer service reached out right away and completely turned the experience around. They were helpful, responsive, and offered me a full refund or replacement without any hassle. I truly appreciate a company that stands by their product and values their customers. Thanks for making it right!

Great for what I was looking for.
This dvd player has a good picture, it is easy to use and I like it has the car headrest mount holder. The volume could be louder. Otherwise it is great and exactly what I was looking for.

It's attractive, functional & affordable!
The media could not be loaded. This is a nice little dvd player. I gave it 5 stars because I really have grown to love it! On that note I'd like to say that is has a 10.1 inch screen as seen here on the box, not a 10.5 as stated in the description here on amazon. Also I'm not convinced the battery has the 4 hour life span that is claimed by the description on the sellers listing here. The owners manual says 2 hours which was a little disheartening because we bought this specifically to be used without having to be plugged in. I can say we watched a movie and part of another one before it started warning about low battery. In my estimation the battery lasted just shy of three hours from fully charged. Even though I had hoped for the full four hours the seller claims in the description I still am likely to keep this dvd player for all of the good attributes it has like 1. Nice loud crystal clear speakers! How nice is that?! I mean seriously I feel that it's a must to be able to take out the head phones and sit back and watch a movie with a spouse or child on a camping trip and everyone be able to hear. (I'm also a little hard of hearing so this is huge for me!) The speakers are VERY good quality and not all twangy and crappy sounding like some of the other portable dvd players. Also this dvd player has played ALL our discs without fail! Even ones that show some scratching. I find this to be very impressive! My first impression of the dvd player when taking it out of the box is that it's a little thick compared to the devices I'm used to handling these days. The plastic does feel kind of cheap and I'd be scared to let a little kid go running off with this because one drop and it's likely to shatter. So if it were me and I was purchasing for a small child I would definitely go for one designed specifically for LITTLE kids that have bumper guards etc because I don't believe this one could take the abuse. I purchased a nice case for this and find that I'm much more content knowing it's safely tucked into something padded for protection. I'd also like to note that I'm very impressed with the responsiveness of all the buttons on this dvd player, and the plug ins are very nice and tight and secure and don't feel like they are made to be a breaking point, I have 300$ devices I can't say that about! I believe that if this dvd player is well cared for it should last many good years of service to our entertainment needs. It comes with everything you need to plug into AC/DC and even includes headphones. It doesn't state so on the description but it can play MP4's! Yay! The only thing I can say I don't like about this dvd player is the remote! I'd like to call it a joke because it's really ridiculous with like 30 unnecessary buttons which makes the ones you do need to see and use so tiny they're hard to see and read in movie watching light, but other than this one dislike I totally love this little dvd player! It's attractive, functional & affordable! What more could one want? I'd have to conclude over all I'm pleased with my purchace.

Wonnie W-103. Can't change aspect ratio from 16:9 to 4:3
I like to watch old tv shows and some old movies that have 4:3 aspect ratio. This unit will only play in 'wide'.I hate stretched wide images. Must send it back. Did 'setup/tv display/choose ratio' only plays wide no matter how many times I try to change it. Unit defective because of this.Later added this: So I also sent this exact same question to another brand of portable player and got the same pat response from the same "individual" with the english name Mike Baker. "Sorry I’m not sure. I haven’t had to change the option. However, you probably can. Sorry I can’t be more helpful." It looks like Mike Baker gets around! China that is.So obviously these portable players from China use the same microchips from the same factory. So folks I'm here to tell you that they are lying. The sellers of all these portable dvd players all know that you can't change the aspect ratio but they want to sell you one no matter what. They dont care that you will see the option in 'setup' and that you will try and waste your time trying to change the aspect ratio all while knowing that it is just a sham, and they hope you wont send it back. I sent mine back.I am ordering a sylvania model that one forum poster said did have 4:3 option (but has a black bar across the top as well as the side of screen.) I'll let you know model number with link on amazon if it indeed works.STILL LATER: I did not send the unit back because none of these portable dvd players play 4:3 old tv aspect ratio. All the brands say they can but none of them can cuz they must use the same componentry. No one Chinese manufacturer wants to be the first to fess up that they cant actually play 4:3 ratio for fear you'll by from another manufacturer that's still willing to lie about this to get your business, consequently it ends up they all lie about it - so I kept the Wonnie because it is a very good value and thats all that's available. What I haven't tried is using the run out av cable suppied with the Wonnie into a separate monitor like a 24 inch LED tv screwed on a wall in a rv/trailer. I daresay your remote on that tv could give you the 4:3 aspect ration so this Wonnie could be your travel compact dvd player (though it wont play blue ray).

Easy to use player
This DVD player allows you to watch movies on the go, a must-have for any avid road trip enthusiasts or anyone who likes to travel in general with lots of downtime. You can watch purchased DVDs or even homemade burned DVDs as this supports a wide variety of formats. You can play any style from any region, which is great for me as I am a fan of shows from both the US and the UK. I can play any DVD from my collection and pause and pick up where I left off whenever I wish. The setup is easy to understand and intuitive. The adjustable screen that you watch from almost any angle and there is very little glare when in direct sunlight. The sound is loud enough to hear on its own but there is an included headphone jack to truly focus in on the audio and cancel out the noise around you. The ability to fold this up lets you have a compact player that you can sit in front of you or hang from a car headrest while being driven around. Not much to complain about with this as it works as is intended to with little coming to mind in terms of improvement.
