Just what I was looking for, a beautiful wooden spoon with a long handle. This is not as large as a standard wooden spoon but has a decent sized spoon and it's sturdy. Only it's polished beautifully so easy to keep looking nice and clean.

Lovely, super useful spoon. Great for sustainability and a nice change from plastic products.

Very bad and small

Very happy with my new spoon - light - the right length for dried food packets - stylish - wont scratch metal pots. could say some shit about being one with my spoon - but its just as practical and nicer to use than the titanium alternative.

This gives the suggestion in title that's it's olive wood. But further than says it's made of Nanmu wood (don't know why they don't wrote that in title). Nanmu was used in architectural woodworking and boatbuilding due to its resistance to decay. The wood dries with little splitting or warping. After drying the wood is of medium-density and does not change shape. So it should be great for cooking!However, I'm not sure what nanmu wood looks like so can't comment on its authenticity. It seems different to other wooden spoons I've had slightly. But also, it feels like it's been coated or varnished.So far, it's too early to say how it'll last but will update over time.It's not as nice as I expected & it's way too big for a jam spoon. It's about 28cm & the spoon itself is 5cm at the centre widest part. It's great for olives or where you need to drain the water from something (a slot spoon).All in all, a nice spoon but too big for an olive jar or jam jar!

When you've got these, you'll wonder, every now and then, why you didn't have them always. Good quality too!
