Tasty noodles!
I got these on Prime day for half off and I think that is a good price for these. I have tried the Momofuku noodles and the Public Goods noodles as well and these are very comparable. The veggie packet is nice and they have a really good flavor. Like some other reviewers, mine boiled over in the microwave and made a huge mess, so I would recommend just boiling on the stove (you can boil an egg at the same time). It's easier to control the doneness of the noodle, but I can see how it would be inconvenient to do at work. The packaging is a little excessive, box, sleeve, plastic bowl, but all in all they are tasty and a welcome addition to my noodle stash.

Good flavor
Fast delivery and good flavor with the noodles. I’d like more spice, but I know that not for everyone.

soagy, slimy noodles!
Major letdown!!! If you follow instructions you will end up with a soagy, clumpy mass of tasteless, textureless noodles. The noodles are tiny, skinny and not what you might expect of any I wasted a farm fresh egg, four basil leaves, two cilantro stems and three beautiful shitake mushrooms. Even cracked open a nice IPA. I didn't even cook them for the recommended time. I brought it to boil, took off the heat and let sit 3 minutes. There's a possibility that you could cook everything except the noodles and throw them in right when you are ready to slurp. I will try that but only to use the five remaining packages but I definitely will NOT purchase agian.

These are fine, but the originals are better.
I really like the original kinjabang noodles and they are a go-to quick lunch for me. I thought I'd try this style, but it was a miss for me. I'll still finish my box of them, and I don't regret trying them out, but won't rebuy this style. The two differences between this one and the og is the noodle style and the sauce:For the noodles, the thinner style is harder to cook perfectly. There is a very small window between overcooking and undercooking. Unfortunately, because the brick floats a bit, you might find that you have a little of both in the same packaging. In order to not overcook most of the noodles, I end up with some undercooked noodles at the surface. I suppose I could pause the microwave to stir or flip them, but considering the appeal of these as lunch is they are easy and hands-off, it doesn't seem worth it if I need to take that extra step. The sauce is okay. It tastes like spicy soy sauce to me -- a little one note -- while the original tasted like a blend of toasted sesame and chile oils, which gave it a little more depth. To me, it doesn't really taste much spicier than the other kind, maybe a tiny bit, but that's fine. I like spicy foods but I'm not the kind of person chasing the capsaicin sting. Both sauces are very salty as other reviews have noted, but this is pretty standard in instant noodles and if you're watching your sodium, you probably ought to be having a different kind of lunch to begin with. The vegetable packet is still quality and much better variety than many other instant noodle types. Again my primary complaint here is that you lose so many of them when you drain the water, because they really are good! All in all, the noodles are fine and it's still a decent lunch for a $4, but for me personally, I won't rebuy this style.

BOIL-OVER BLUNDER
The directions should read, “Empty the noodles and dried vegetables and seasonings into the bowl. Add water to fill line [undefined]. Place into microwave with lid attached and cook for 4 to 5 minutes. Watch in utter disappointment as half of the veggies are propelled through the strainer opening at the 2.5 minute mark. Continue to cook until noddles are cooked. Spend more time cleaning the microwave than it took to ravage it with a significant amount of what you thought you were going to eat. Try to enjoy what’s left of your meal. It’s pretty tasty. Too bad so much of it became an entirely regrettable mess.”
