I used it to wrap around trace heating cable fitted to my water pipes in my garage. The tape helps to spread the heat evenly across the pipes. It was easy to use, sticks well, easy to peel off the backing.

Used this to do an emergency exhaust fix until I can get the car into a garage. Managed to hold up for a 4 hour motorway journey home and still going strong.Really easy to use and tear, just don’t take all the backing off at once as it tends to stick together - a non issue if applied properly.Stuck really well, even over all the carbon dirt on the exhaust, however is not very thick so you will need a few layers.Can’t comment on how well it would stand up in the rain, but very good for the price.

I bought this roll of tape because we have been fitting new engineered wood flooring and you need to tape together the sides of the rolls of underlay to maintain the vapour barrier. Once you remove the backing tape it is very sticky and goes on well but getting that backing tape off was the problem. It was not easy to get a finger nail into the join to lift enough to get a hold and rip it off. Occasionally I had to resort to using the blade of a Stanley knife for the first step. The answer would be to have a backing tape a fraction wider that the aluminium tape; you could then just flick it, get the initial separation and then rip it off.
