It was a good size, but you have to basically unpack the entire bag in order to get anything you want. I took this bag backpacking in Thailand and Myanmar for 3 weeks and the seam at the top between the colored and gray area ripped (i had a sewing kit so I was able to stitch it up). It may also have been my overpacking. It worked for what I needed it for, but I would recommend a backpack a bit sturdier with more support if you plan on using this for backpacking for multiple weeks.

Cheap quality, not very comfortable, and the top of the bag tore during my second trip with this bag. Also there's a defect on one of the support straps that goes across your torso, so that instead of a normal strap adjustment I have to tie a knot in the strap.
