I have used this product for about 8 months. My labs have moved from just below acceptable to a low normal reading as a result of taking one capsule every other day. I had some side effects taking it every day. Interesting that (and my MD had no comment) my occasional irregular heartbeat has stopped with the increase in iron level. No after taste. Inexpensive. So try this gradually. I will continue.

I've taken regular iron supplements after surgery and I always had to take them at the same time as stool softeners. When I was told about chelated iron and how it doesn't disrupt the GI tract, I was thrilled.I was turned away from donating blood due to low iron and ordered this product. Within a week or two I could feel my overall energy level going up. That is the only effect I have noticed from taking this supplement, which was exactly as I had hoped. I definitely recommend the product.

This is the same brand of chelated iron I have used for a long time, except these are tabs and have more tabs for cost than the capsules I usually order. Arrived promptly and packaged good to avoid breakage of the containers.

Chelated iron is supposed to be more easily absorbed.

I started taking one pill a day for a couple weeks now to start, so far I have not noticed any nausea or other issues associated. If I can tolerate it I will increase to two pills.I am glad I found a Iron supplement that is not harsh on the stomach!
