Best case/cover I have come across for an IPad
I have only had this for about a month, but so far I really like it. I was searching for a cover for my IPad 2017 and came across this UAG cover. It is a little expensive, but made much better than the Apple covers that I have used in the past. The cover provides excellent protection and also makes for a very useful stand to place on a flat surface. It can be a little awkward at first to hold in the hands as other reviewers have said, but overtime I have learned how to adapt. The material has a good feel to it and has good grip. Overall, it looks nice, offers great protection, and functions very well as a self supporting stand. I have no regrets with this purchase. Time will tell how well it holds up. It is definitely the best iPad cover I have used. If for any reason you think you will be wanting to take it out of the case on a regular basis, I would look for another cover. The IPad fits rather snugly in this case and would not come out easily.

Sturdy
Purchased as replacement cover for husband’s IPad. Sturdy enough item. Would recommend

Solid cheaper end case for an older iPad.
Offers good protection appears to be well built at an acceptable price. Went through quite a few cases trying to find one that was decent but also fit my older iPad after the apple case I had finally failed after years. Doesn’t add too much more bulk. Appears to be some slight fraying on the magnet loop after a month or so. Case is much better than the rest of the ultra cheap Chinese cases or the faux leather ones. Best option I have for my older iPad.

Seems durable. Nice feel to exterior material.
I like it. Durable, nice protection. Good feel. I'm a photographer so my iPad will sometimes go with me in the field for camera control. Just did a job where this worked well. I personally don't like how the cover folds back making it a little inconvenient to hold the iPad with my left hand while working with the right. But that may just be a readjustment from my older cover. Exterior texture is great, easy to grip, and doesn't rub off or mark like some cheaper ones do. The textured material that covers the screen is nice and I assume protective, but I question now long a "fuzzy" texture will hold up to direct hand contact when the cover is folded open. Not thrilled with the angle it holds the iPad when using it as a "stand" but that may just be my preference. One of the better covers I have had over several iPads. The OEM Apple magnetic cover which just covers the screen is cool and all, but offers no protection against drops and lets your metal get scratched. And their full "tray" type covers offer more protection but aren't as heavy as this. This offers far more protection without a ton of bulk. Not thrilled with the chrome-like logo, but you're talking to the guy who cuts logos off everything ...

UAG Case, M.D.
tl;dr - buy it, use it, love it, and when the time comes...give it the viking funeral it deserves.I bought the same case over three years ago and there is a reason I'm buying it again. I bought the first case when I started medical school for the ipad they were giving us. I used it almost exclusively for med school to study, take notes, etc... so it definitely got used...a lot. I have absolutely zero complaints about this case. It is extremely durable and I'm positive it has saved my ipad more times than I realize. The reason I decided to go ahead and buy another one is that the material where the front flap meets the back has been worn out and is probably pretty close to breaking, which would pretty well kill the whole "self-supporting" feature. That said, I'm not entirely sure it's just from normal wear-and-tear because my then 1, now 4 year old would put a lot of unnecessary stress on the junction and made it pretty flimsy. At this moment, the first case is still being used. ( I reinforced the crease/junction with some popsicle sticks and duct tape...kinda like a splint)I doubt my experience with this case, and UAG stuff in general, is unique. I've had quite a few things covered with UAG cases. It's to the point that whenever I get something new and need a case, the first thing I look for is if it has a UAG case.
