Q: I recieved this toner and it have sign of 3 colors on it and the product number end with L not S is this black or color toner

The 3 color sign is just our E-Z Ink brand logo. These are the black toners for Samsung 111 model.

Q: Do these cartridges have chips on them so a printer will recognize them. I have the M2020W?

Douglas - they do have the chips on them (on the right side of the cartridge), and your printer should recognize the new cartridge after an agonizingly long several minutes. After the first install, though, everything settles back into normal. Worried me at first, since the usual warm-up time is only a few seconds, but it's still working great. Hope this helps!

I have been using this on my M2020w for several years and they work just fine.

I did not need a chip to use this toner with my printer.
