I am having some major surgery coming up. My doctor recommended a different drink (3 a day for 5 days before surgery - and 3 a day for 2 weeks after). Only problem is the protein drink he recommended was HORRIBLE. The 5th ingredient is anchovy paste!! It was truly awful and a hundred bucks for 12 drinks! So, I asked if I could sub out the awful, super expensive drink for these Iconic drinks. He agreed! I ordered the Iconic chocolate truffle, the caffe latte and the vanilla. Do you like chocolate milk?! Who doesn't, the chocolate truffle tastes like the best chocolate milk you've ever tried! When I drink the caffe latte I pour it over ice or blend with ice and it's like a really terrific iced coffee! The vanilla bean is as delicious as it sounds. And they all SMELL good too. Honestly. All of this, without anything that is bad for you and 20 grams of protein!! In fact my doctor says he will now recommend these drinks. When you HAVE to do a meal replacement drink - you have GOT to try these first! I am soooo grateful for them - for taste and cost! Plus they are shelf stable!!! So refrigerate as you need them! I would give these 10 stars if I could. Just ordered more. I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. This is my #1 First choice for a protein shake! I am on a liquid protein diet right now and have tried MANY different shakes. I need to have high protein, low carbs, AND I can not tolerate artificial sweeteners. It's hard to find a drink that matches that criteria that doesn't get super high in calories or that doesn't taste nasty! These shakes are 130 calories, 20 grams of protein, 8 grams of carbs (3gr from sugar), lactose free and sweetened naturally with agave. That's like the perfect combo for me! I was so pleasantly surprised with I tried Iconic Lean Protein Shakes. I first tried the chocolate and I loved them. They tasted great, without that weird aftertaste that some give you. Then, I just bought the Cafe Au Lait. OMG! My new favorite! It tastes just like an iced coffee drink. I KID YOU NOT! I would easily compare it to the canned Starbucks iced coffee drinks. This has 20 grams of protein and much lower calories though. I loved it! BUT, do note that it has 180mg of Columbian coffee in it. So you might not want to drink lots of these in the afternoon if you don't want to stay up at night. It does have caffeine in the Cafe Au Lait version. Go to the chocolate or vanilla if you want to avoid that. I have also tried the vanilla. I am not a vanilla fan in any protein shake or milk shake for that matter. But...It was good. It had a nice vanilla-y flavor and didn't have an aftertaste. I'd still go for Chocolate or Cafe Au Lait first. The only downfall...the price. They work out to about $3/bottle. So I do have to limit how many of these I can do for that reason. If they were a bit cheaper by the case, I think I'd drink more of them. I'd also love it if they created an Iconic Lean Protein shake mix/powder that you could mix yourself. Hint...hint..

Nutritionist suggested this protein drink. Used to be able to pick up a couple bottles at Whole Foods, but not anymore. Luckily, found this on Amazon and started subscription. Packaged in red box inside Amazon box. Love this flavor. It’s a smooth cafe latte, not bitter at all and not too sweet.

I really like this protein shake and the ingredient make-up and nutritional make-up is the best I have found. I’ve purchased several times. However, my most recent order does have little “flakes” in each shake of this flavor (but NOT in the vanilla bean I ordered at the same time)… I don’t know how to describe it; it’s almost like there’s some flakes of congealed consistency, like very thin gelatin flakes, with the last few swigs. Every bottle in this case I’m finishing up of this flavor has had them. I just spit them into a napkin, to be honest. It’s annoying, but I’ve tolerated it because I like the product, overall. Before trying this brand, I really liked GNC Go Lean shakes. While they had more flavor options, the nutritional make-up can’t compete with ICONIC as far as what I’m looking for.

Honestly, Coffee Iconic is amazing. To begin with, it tastes awesome, like a melted plain coffee frappuccino; no icky protein drink aftertaste (you know what I'm talking about!). Then, it has ALL the things that one would want to see in a protein drink of their choice: 20g Protein, 130 calories, 3g sugar 200% B12, NO GMO, no Carrageen, no icky aspartame / sucralose. But here's the clincher... (at least for me) it has 180mg of caffeine per bottle!! Yasssss!!! One coffee Iconic gets me set for morning nutritional needs, and bless them, my caffeine as well. (I'm on a reduced calorie / sugar diet, and I love my coffee light and sweet. Iconic has rescued me! ;->) (in full disclosure, I *may* have written this review after drinking one, and whilst the caffeine kicked in ;->)

Update 12/21: I miss the old recipe. How many reviews do you need to change it back. Add the 3 grams of sugar and go back to the original. Why change something that was working. I’ve tried after several months to go to the new recipe. I threw the bottles out. Such a bad after taste. So artificial. Nothing like before. 2019 review: I order 3 cases every month. Fast delivery. Great protein shakes. My favorite coffee drink I by far. Best prices I can find is through Iconic. Found them at local stores and I wipe them out of stock anytime I find them in the bottle. I bought 4 boxes of the carton cafe latte and those have a very different taste. I can’t drink them so now I’m out those 4 packs but I still have my bottles that I am up to drinking 2 a day. I can’t stop. It is the best feeling when I am drinking one. You MUST shake for a long time to get rid of the sediment at the bottom otherwise your last swallow might have a little slimy texture to it. I shake for several mins cause I need it to be good to the last drop. Please send more!!!! Also have to mention the outstanding customer service at Iconic. They answer immediately and have replaced with full cases over 1 bottle before. Outstanding customer service. I think I need to go grab another one as I type this. Just thinking about them makes me want one. Thank you.

Hello! I absolutely LOVE your protein drinks. I got engaged in April of this past year and am getting married in May 2019, so my goal was to drop some lbs. before the wedding but, I was an avid every morning Dunkin Donuts Large Iced Vanilla Coffee lover! I had to find a way to cut that out but get my coffee with low sugar and low carbs AND tasted GOOD! For me that's the kicker! MUST TASTE GOOD! Your Café Latte protein drink has been my morning life saver, it acts as both my coffee and breakfast all rolled into one compact little drink! I have ordered and purchased MANY cases since April after finding it! SO THANK YOU! I have lost 25lbs with the help of your product! I would love to try your protein powder, sometimes I need a little pick me up before the end of my work day and heading to the gym. Thank you again for such a good clean, all natural product! I put my previous review at the bottom because A: I feel it very important that someone know and remember how great this product was at least some time in 2018 and prior. B: So that maybe it can one day be there again and maybe, just maybe I got a bad case. Also I am a big fan of their customer service staff (Specifically Clayton or code name Clayton) and their ideals of giving back to the community when possible (Got a case of chocolate I didn't like and instead of shipping it back they suggested I give it to a homeless shelter and that is awesome!). Now 2019 I've been without my Iconic for months now, I don't know what I was thinking, I decided to order it again because I missed it so. Every single bottle has weird chunky stuff when you get to the bottom (Also seen in another comment). It's winter and it's not soured so I don't think it's a bad batch. I also shake it like it's a shake weight so that's not it either. I'm almost positive they changed something because the flavor is just not the same either. *Insert sadness here* It's still decent, it still keeps me full over half the day and I still drink it until I come across a chunk so there is that, but It did take my all of the stars rating down to only 3 of the stars.
