It dose lock the door well, however with its technique, door may get jammed if it was large size door, as like my trial at hotel; it would get uptight to install & remove or uninstall. Good strong door lock. We got locked out & could not force our way in. Had to force open a window. My only complaint would be the chain that keeps the 2 pieces together could be stronger. I have 3 of them & 2 chains broke.

I used this at a hotel in Panama City, Panama. The door didn’t have a lock, so this added a bit more security. This was very simple to use and the he material is very study. The lock made us feel very safe. I’ll travel everywhere with it now.
