Makes home workout easy!
Like most people, I don’t particularly enjoy exercising, and I hate going to the gym because it cuts into my valuable “me time”. These pedals are a game changer. I set them up in front of the TV so I can pedal while I watch TV or play video games. It doesn’t change the fact that I don’t love exercising in the first place, but it’s so easy and convenient I really don’t have an excuse not to.The pedals are small enough to store in a closet when not in use, but not obtrusive enough that you necessarily need to hide them. You can use the little knob on top to adjust the tension; keeping it a little tighter gives you a pretty good workout you can really feel.

Wobbly
Purchase for my mom to exercise. Assimilate was easy but the bike is not stable.

Pros and cons
Was happily surprised with the weighty, powder-coated metal frame. Nice. Sturdy. But be forewarned: the instruction booklet is 8 pages of very small print, very minimal diagrams, lots of warnings and the worst I have ever had to try to assemble something with. Felt it was worthless. Nowhere in the description on Amazon did they indicate a user weight limit, but the booklet gives it at 150 lbs., which makes no sense to me, since you don't sit on it!I feel I got my money's worth, but you need to have some ability to solve assembly.

I use it without even thinking about it.
I read a lot of negative reviews that, after receiving the item and using it for a month now, I realized are just people being picky. If you looking to replace your bike with this product, you're out of luck, but if you're stuck in an office (or home office right now) for 8+ hours a day and want a way to keep your body moving without actually being able to get up and walk around, it's a great product. It's lightweight, so it works best on a carpet or rug, but it folds up tight for easy storage - would probably even fit in a backpack if it was the only thing in there. However, in the month I've had it though, I haven't put it away once, it lives between my chair and my computer desk, and even when I'm not actively peddling, it makes a great foot rest to keep my knees elevated which helps with my circulation. My favorite thing about it is that it peddles forward or backward and tracks the calories regardless of the direction, so I can switch back and forth, or just rock my feet without making full rotations. As someone who's always struggled with sitting still, all the way back to grade school, I've found that this also helps with my fidgety sitting habits. The idea of an under-desk peddle machine is a great one, and this particular product is a good quality for the price, considering some of the alternatives are a LOT more expensive. I highly recommend.

Not stable
While it was fairly easy to assemble, it was not at all stable. Even after placing a slip mat under to stabilize it was all over the place. it is too short and I used it for my mother who is barely 4'9" tall. Very poor quality. Do Not recommend at all.

Look for an alternative before buying this
I just had two knee surgeries so I bought this item to exercise my knees and my arms. Parts were missing, one critical hole had not been drilled in one of the metal poles and the instructions were incomplete and confusing. I spent at least 12 hours trying to use the flimsy tools included to tighten the washers and bolts. I had this unit about 75% assembled when I discovered the hole had not been drilled. I was beyond the point where I could return the item---the flimsy tools slipped alot and had scratched the parts. I had to spend $52 at my local hardware store for an electric drill, additional bolts and metal clamps to hold this together so that I could use it. It is useful but required far too much effort to assemble and extra money to be useful. Would not purchase again.

Great for Folks who cannot use a Stationary Bike
This is great for anyone who cannot sit on a stationary bike. It was easy to assemble and seems to be made of sturdy material. The handle can be adjusted up/down and the arm and foot pedal tension is easily adjusted. Purchased it for a friend who can sit in a chair (but not on a bike). Putting the font of the unit against something that cannot move (like a couch) really helps to ensure the unit will not move forward. All in all a great item for the price! I would recommend it to others who have the same need.
