Hot Spring Light Lens Retro Kit, White 71832

After removing and cleaning the entire area with a grinder, orbital sander and paint thinner back to blue fiberglass. I cleaned the lenses contact surface and I applied the Devcon (spend the $40 +/- for it.) from the center to the outer ring I pressed into place. Wiped up some excess adhesive and secured into place with duct tape to let set. After 6 hours I cleaned the tub removed tape and filled. No leaks and it's great to have the not tub working again. The entire time spend working on it was only 45 minus. My hot tub was already drained and waiting for parts to come in. (adhesive/lens kit)

This is a vastly superior item to the original. The lens can now be removed, and the glue in nature makes it a permanent solution. Only drawback is that installation is a hassle with the special epoxy, but that is the nature of proper hot tub repair.

The lens is leaking. It’s not leaking where I sealed it to the hot tub but it is leaking where the manufacturer glued it together. Very disappointed.

Easy to install works perfectly

I dislike that it was not glued properly at the fatory. It leaks water.
