Very convenient for laptop sessions I have in my car; I conduct meetings from my car and remotely quite a lot and this has served me well. I can preserve my backup battery bank for when I really need it as long as I'm in my car. I find I can focus better in my car as well, so this has been very useful. No technical issues with this, I travel with it and still works great.

My wife and I make many trips with our car & van. Since 2001 The passengers always like to use our laptop to watch dvd's on + 6 hr trips, Always had to use a power inverter to power the laptop. Now this is the best solution! The price was as great as the product! It is easy to pack and always available to charge the Laptop with the car running or standing! It's better the carrying around a bunch of half charge batteries and it evens works with one of those "Booster / Starter" Batteries. Now we can blue tooth it to the car stereo and all listen & watch music videos!

I searched high and low for something that would allow me to charge my laptop while I was in the car, and this product was it. It does what it is supposed to do and works great. When buying one of these: Be aware that there are several different models, and the right one for your laptop depends upon the voltage and wattage that your laptop requires. If you buy the wrong one, it may not work at all, or it may not perform well. Look at your laptop's current charging cable and make sure that the output voltage and wattage on it match what you're buying!

Charging comes on then goes off every few seconds. It causes voltage drops on the 12v buss, dropping everything attached to it and causes my usb-c monitor to flicker in rhythm with the laptop’s charging light. Have tried 2 of them now with same results.

I have a Toshiba C55Dt-B5208 and the charger works just fine. The product works as described and is a fair price. The reason you did not get the 5th star is for the slight inconvenience because the cigarette lighter connection keeps popping out. I tried it in multiple cars and in auto extension cords with the outlet--same result. If this could be fixed you would have a 5 star product. Maybe it will work itself out with age.

This worked excellent on my ASUS I7 laptop. It charges much slower than the 120V version, but what do you expect? Great alternative for the price and convenience. Just make sure you are not on 0% as I did have issues using the charger starting at that amount.
