I received this disc rather quickly from Amazon, and Latitude 64 makes excellent quality products. This year I was re-introduced into disc golf and quickly got back into the sport. My throws were still pretty rusty from not playing for several years, and the River is the disc that helped me fix my drives. This disc loves to go straight as an arrow if you release it at the perfect angle. A slightly anhyzer with a good formed throw will send this disc down the fairway further than you would expect a 7 speed to fly. The 7-Glide is accurate (even though the true scale goes 1-6), and is not an exaggerate.The Retro plastic is affordable, but it does lack some durability (expected for baseline plastic). The disc held up just fine after a couple months of solid tree hits and fairway drives (I play in wooded courses). I lost the River in a river, and retrieved it back. Unfortunately, I did end up losing this disc in a large overgrown area near my local course. I immediately purchased a second one in the same color and weight. I love this thing.I'm even going to get it in the premium Opto plastic because I love this disc so much.BUY THIS DISC, you will not regret it.

It's everything you've heard. Easy to throw, easy to learn. Breaks-in quickly. Classic.

I like the flight of the disc. Works well for my backhand throws. Flies pretty straight then a slight fade when throwing around 275. Not a fan of the plastic though.
