How do you get employees to stay for longer than one week, one month, even one year? It is all about motivating your employees to work hard and rewarding them for displaying a great work ethic. You should reward your employees through praise - both verbally and physically. Physical means of rewarding workers could be getting ice cream at the end of a month where the employees showed huge progress or increased the amount of money that they raised for the company by a large margin. It does not even have to be big...small rewards here and there for little accomplishments can pave the way for much bigger things. Motivating and rewarding employees is the #1 guaranteed way to succeed as a business and as a team.

Basic information - standardize responses. You are typically not going to go wrong saying these phrases. handy to have them in one place. Not amazing or insightful - for that you might want to think of powerful quotes. These are solid.

This book has some great examples and wording to utilize to make subjects direct and to the point (no running around the bushes) when your lost for words.

It's an ok book, It's mostly common sense stuff but gives you a few good tips on how to approach or address things. I've also found many phrases I would never use or could even get in trouble for using, largely due to policy and working in a large corporation.

Prepare to be underwhelmed
I must say I was looking forward to this arriving and can say I was underwhelmed, to say the least. Page 18, should I need to be told “good morning” or “how are you?” as being motivational or “I have faith in your abilities” why am I manager? “What are your career goals?”. The phrases element of this book should not be needed by a nitwit with half a brain.The chapter introductions are moderately useful. Giving you some background on why the environment of the chapter is good.This book may make a good doorstop for me. It would perhaps be good for an upstart, young whippersnapper with zero experience of management or being managed.
