Cuisinart CHC-801 Cleanburn Fire Pit, Durable Rip-Resistant Polyester (Cover Fits COH-800)

I bought this on the advice of Consumer Reports. It supposedly works as well if not better than Solo and was cheaper when I bought it. I also slightly preferred the look. We've used it 3-4 times now and it's just fantastic! We were constantly getting smoke blown in our eyes and having to move around constantly, now it's very rare for this to happen, and if it does it's much less severe and only lasts a fraction of a second. I'll never go back to a standard fire pit! It also packs up well for travel and is easy to clean.

We already had one of the well-known "smokeless" fire pits and were very happy with it, but I wanted the larger size. What I did not want was to spend the very high price for the same popular brand. I read reviews, compared specs and prices for days and finally settled on the Cuisinart. We had a family gathering and everyone was so impressed! The engineering is basically the same, so it creates an extremely hot fire, just like the well-known brand. The bonus on this one is that the base is the ash pan! You simply twist off the bowl and easily clean up. No dumping the entire fire pit, or pulling out an ash pan from the 2.0 version if you're lucky. The only drawback is that Cuisinart do not made a lid, so I had to purchase one separately, and those can be extremely costly. I finally found an affordable one that was very well made. All in all, we are extremely happy with this purchase and have used it almost every weekend since we purchased.*Edit - I thought I was reviewing the firepit itself because it came with the cover. The cover is just as expected!

It has a two piece metal rib , works like an X and has bends to shape.The inside of the cover has an attachment point for the 4 ribs.( A Velcro strap sewn inside cover x 4)

I really like how it has metal under top to stop snow or rain stilling on top. Fits my 19.5 Cuisinart Firepit

Water is going straight thru the cover soaking the fire pitIt also pools on the top no matter how tight you toggle the cover - disappointed

If you are looking for waterproof, DON’T buy this. The first time it rained we had a water pit! Very disappointing. The whole reason for a cover was to keep it dry!!

I haven't use yet since I have not received my smokeless fire pit.
