Excellent product to stop bleeding but USE EXTREME CAUTION
I use this product for hemostasis for small cuts and wounds. It is used in my dental practice and works very quickly for specific, very small bleeding areas. In the office I apply it with a cotton swab or tiny cotton pellets held in a tweezer (about 1/8 inch pellets). Just barely dip he cotton with enough liquid to transfer to the cut, no need to saturate with a lot of the solution. USE IT SPARINGLY!! A little goes a long way!If you are not a health care provider, at home, you can use this product with a Q-tip, a bit of damp paper towel, napkin etc. for a skin cut. Note that it can sting a little; use pressure and to wipe it cross the cut and then hold it on for about 30 seconds to a minute and then check the site. Before removing the paper towel or cotton you are using to apply it, wet it first so it does not stick to the wound and possibly re-open it and start the bleeding when you pull it off. Depending on the situation you may need multiple applications and if so, keep it on longer with pressure. The blood clot will have a brown color that is temporary. The solution will stain fabric. It can leave a temporary brownish discoloration on skin. IT IS NOT TO BE USED IN THE MOUTH WITHOUT PROPER TRAINING. NEVER SWISH THIS SOLUTION OR SWALLOW IT! it is simply for topical application on skin, held on the bleeding spot with pressure. If you buy this and are not familiar with its chemistry and are not a medical provider, read up on it online to be aware of safe use. It is TOXIC-POISON-so do not mess around with it. This 16 oz bottle will last a lifetime because so little is needed for a cut. Definitely store this safely where children or anyone with potential to misuse it can find it!

Beast styptic ever
As a styptic works instantly, on larger areas it hurts, but stops bleeding quick. Being 78 yrs old my skin is paper thin and rips easily, so I use it frequently.

Broken lid
The package arrived with the lid broken. Some leakage occurred, but because the bottle was wrapped tightly, the leakage was limited. I believe the same thing happened with my previous order. The lid I’m using is from two orders ago…

Works great
Works great and much less expensive than ordering through our office medical supplier.

This was expired 2 months ago
I ordered two bottles. Nowhere in the ad did it say it was expired. It expired two months prior to my order.
