Best Work/utility Pants?
I haven't been able to stop wearing these yet, so will be a test of odor resistance as well. These are some of the best all-around pants I've tried so far in my search for the perfect pair. They will probably end up being too hot for warm weather. When taking into consideration price, they are definitely near the top of the list for me. Will have to report back on durability.

Carhartt is a fashion brand, not a work brand now
Carhartt are cutting the legs of their pants skinnier now to be more inline with fashion trends instead of staying practical for workers. Old Carhartts fit me perfectly, no belt needed and plenty of room for knee pads/braces underneath but these fit awkward. There's 3 inches of gaping at the waist when I bend over (even though I ordered to my exact waist measurement), they're tight around my hips/butt (they do make my butt look good but that's not really my top priority in a pair of work pants), they're even a bit too tight around my thighs and calves so it's uncomfortable to wear my knee supports underneath. They're also a tad bit short but that's on me for ordering a 32 inseam instead of a 34 (I think 34 must have been sold out when I ordered). If you have muscular legs, you wear knee braces, or you have a skinnier waist and bigger butt, then you should probably steer away from these... unless your priority is just to look good and not to be able to move freely/comfortably.

Perfect fit
My fiancé wears these to work in and he loves them. They are easy to move in and look nice. They are also easy to clean.

pretty tight for relaxed fit....
Maybe they will loosen up, but they are pretty tight for a relaxed fit....

Pants are short in the hips
Like the heavy material and relax fit, but are sized one size larger. Dislike was short in the waistline, more of a hip-hugger.

Fit seems large
I think I'm a 48" but I may be a 46" according to these pants. I have monster thighs so a good fit is hard to find. I was about to return and get 46" but they fit so well in the thighs, I tried to shrink them. One hot wash later they shrunk a good inch. A belt will still be needed but I can wear a really thick shirt without sucking in. Love the quality and thickness of all the Carhartt clothing. Wish they made more collar shirts.

Excellent worker jeans for social use
I love these trousers, they are true to their style, feel and look as typical if Carhartt. Having read sone reviews I bought a slightly bigger size and they fit better (I like the leg baggier). Love them!

Size accuracy.
I’ve worn the exact dice and length for many many years. These pants are longer then what is specified.
