Very nice license plate winch mount!
Received it and had it on in less than 20 minutes. Very sturdy, solid construction and it works great.

junk
they did not bother to drill holes in the right locations for American license plates so it bows the mount and the license plate. Had to drill holes in my license plate and it still doesn't look right.waste of time

Solid product - a few tips for install
I have a 98 Jeep Cherokee with JCR DIY front winch bumper and a 12,000# Badlands winch. I made a custom bracket to turn the winch control box to avoid having to cut my grill to clear heavy wires coming out the back of the control box.As far as the license plate flip bracket, it is a good looking pc. I purposely bought this one because it has metal spring clamps that hold it in the down position by clamping around the vertical fairlead rollers. There are cheaper flip plates available but many have plastic clamps (which I saw one break the 2nd time the plate was opened). What didn't I like?Really only one small issue and I fixed it in 5 minutes... There are 4 small phillips head bolts with nuts that hold the spring clamps in place. To allow the license plate to sit flat, I removed and flipped these screws so the larger nut and protruding end of the bolt didn't hold the license plate away from the mounting plate. I removed and flipped the bolts one at a time so the clamp position did not move and I used blue Loc-Tite since there really isn't a lock washer, lock nut, etc. The attached picture shows the bolts after I flipped them (circled in red). The nut and end of the bolt had plenty a clearance and did not hit the fairlead roller now that they are on the "backside" of the plate. Not sure why they don't install these "correctly" from the factory. That was all I did not like about it.A few install tips...1. the job is much easier with a pair of C-clip pliers. A $2 bin Harbor Freight set will do. You'll want a set with fairly small pins as the holes on my clips (at least on my Badlands winch) would not accept my larger c-clip pliers. It can be done without C-clip pliers but you may find out why some people call these Jesus clips when they go flying somewhere.2. As you can see in the picture, on my set-up the plate opened and hit the bumper at about a 45 degree angle. My jeep has plenty of battle scars so I don't care about the edge of the license plate hitting the bumper or my stainless bracket. If scratching your paint is a concern you may want find some type of plastic edging (sliced clear fuel line?) to protect your paint from the license plate.3. I removed the C-clips on the top of the fairlead roller pins. You will remove and not reuse the thrust spring washers that are under the C-clip (your fairlead may not have these). This makes room for the metal thickness of the hinge bracket. When I removed my top C-clips the pins fell to the ground (obviously the fairlead has not yet see a salty Wisconsin winter). Because my plate would hit the bumper and rest at a 45, instead of fighting trying to hold the spring loaded hinge in place and reinstall the C-clips, I found it much easier to simply flip the pins (what was the bottom of the pins still had the C-clips installed) and push them from top to bottom. This pretty much held the flip plate bracket in place and I could easily install C-clips on the bottom of the pins.Loc-Tite is your friend on the bolts that hold the license plate on as well.

Works great
It’s a little big for my winch but does exactly what it’s made to do. Springs are strong. Hardware seems good. Clips to rollers very good.

Sturdy, well built bracket.
Fit my Superwinch TS9500 perfectly. All steel construction, no plastic at all. Even the clips that hold it to the rollers. Strong springs keep the holder up out of the way while winch is in use. Ive had brackets like this before, but never as well built as this one. Well worth the price, even included the license plate bolts.

Didn't work for my winch plate or fairlead
This bracket did not fit my Warn winch fairlead, at all. I even measured it against my old Smitty fairlead. The mounting holes for the flip-spring side were about 1 - 1.5 inches too wide. If it were adjustable, as the fairlead grabber-brackets were, or I'd wanted to deal with modifying myself, it would have been perfect. But, I didn't want to deal with modifying. Return was super easy, though, so that's a plus.Overall, despite my inability to use this, it appeared to be a good product. The steel seemed to be good quality for the price and springs seemed to be strong. As mentioned in other reviews, the license plate holder holes were also not aligned properly with the actual holes in the plate itself, but would have been a relatively easy and quick fix with modifying the holes on the plate. My recommendation would be to try it if you're not sure. If it doesn't work, return it. If it does, yay!

Fantastic product. Can be a little tricky to install ...
Fantastic product. Can be a little tricky to install by yourself but only took me 20 mins. Looks great, works great. Only complaint is the license plate hits the nuts that hold the spring clips that go on the rollers.I used a stack of washers to space the license plate out some to prevent this.

Did not fit my WARN roller fairlead
I wanted to love this product, but it ended up not working for the intended purpose. The flanges and spring on 'top' - the part you'll bolt into the top of the roller - was too narrow to accept the radius of the WARN fairlead. Try as I might, couldn't get it to work. If your roller fairlead housing has a more narrow radius on the house holding the rollers in place it might work. Also, the spring allowing it to flex up and down has a long tail that interferes with seating it level. It felt well made and sturdy and would have been perfect. The clips that snug around the rollers are adjustable, so if you're running slightly narrow or wide left-to-right you'll be able to adjust them to fit. It's just those darn flanges on top that prevented it from seating properly. Returned.
