It's definitely good to put together with 2 people vs one. Sturdy and holds 145 lbs with no issue. I have the hammock chair not an Egg and it works great.

First off, I was intimidated at first because the tools and the small parts came loose in a big red bag. That actually turned out to be super easy to sort and figure out what went where. Then a few pieces of the frame were not even in the packing foam and packing bubbles that they were supposed to be in. It was weird because they were taped and laid out like they were once in them, but not. Anyhow, those pieces came scratched. It wasn't so bad that they affected the overall build though, because the piece all together is beautiful. We love it!

This stand is excellent. Easy to assemble and not too heavy to move around. Love it! Perfect for my Pier1 Swingassan.

The “tools” that come with this are technically usable but it would take one person a week to assemble it. The instructions could be clearer too. Don’t tighten everything until you’re certain it’s together correctly.Once it’s assembled, it’s WONDERFUL! So it’s worth the effort in the long run.I bought this because the tree I’ve been hanging my swing on is deteriorating. It will be outdoors long term. I might look into wrapping it in a tarp over the winter as I do not have adequate storage. The swing usually gets rolled up when not in use.We have to move it when we do the lawn. The only difficulty there is low-hanging branches (the aforementioned tree).A few buyers seemed concerned about stability. That could be an issue for children but an adult shouldn’t have any problems.
