Is rear projection okay?

This projector is a 3500-lumen projector, , so it is possible to do rear projection with it however, the environment that you are projecting in would need to be quite dark.

Is there a way of making a connection from audio out into hdmi in on a sonus beam.

I use a sound bar - fire stick or device to in on the sound bar. Then HDMI out to the projector. Works well for me with no lag. Hope this helps.

Can you use the hdmi socket on the projector to a sound bar (not the audio out)?

No, you need to send audio before it reaches the projector. Send direct from the source. You can use a audio splitter to separate video from the source, then send audio to the bar and video to the projector.

Projector will be about 12ft away from 120 inch screen will this fill the screen

I had mine about 10 ft away for a 120 inch so 12ft maybe just a bit far
