Cannot go wrong with this formula! Great product!
As a new mom, of course you want what’s best for your baby. I started off solely nursing however noticed I didn’t produce a lot while pumping. Since I’m going back to work in a month I needed to find something that worked for us. I started off with a popular brand we got a sample of and my daughter threw up everywhere and was so gassy. So I scratched that! After doing research my husband and I liked that this formula was marketed for breastfed babies and kept the poppies soft. Let me tell you... she loves it! And to my surprise (and happiness!) she is actually LESS gassy and fussy with the formula supplemented in. She poops more regularly which is a godsend for her little belly. It’s a scary thing to add in or switch to formula (and to have a newborn in general haha!)- at the end of the day, we all want what’s best for our babies and want them to feel good and be happy little people. So, just to clarify, this formula rocks! Happy baby = happy momma!

Breastfed Baby Didn't Like
I was trying to get my son on formula at 6 months, unfortunately he hated this one. I tasted it and don't think it's anything close to breast milk, I'm guessing because of all the added vitamins maybe.... this was a no for us.

SAFETY ALERT
SAFETY UPDATE: new package I opened today. Made a bottle of formula and thankfully I let it sit a minute before putting the nipple on because there was a piece of blue plastic floating in it! Very small, but I am pretty sure it would go through the nipple. Either way it doesn’t matter, no plastic should be there. I looked at packaging and noticed the blue spoon given had all rough edges around it from the required breaking away of it from packaging to use. Please keep old spoons and do not use any with the sharp edges as they maybe have week spots and get into the formula!!!PRIOR REVIEW:My baby seems to enjoy. Pediatrician says it is a great formula and even gave us full size samples. The online price is the same as Walmart as of this month. Having delivered to my door after having a c section and not being able to drive has been extremely helpful! Their is a spoon holder in my containers, where I noticed some reviews claim theirs do not have this feature. The spoon is slightly smaller than my newborn bottle openings, sometimes when I am extremely tired I do not get all of it in the container but most of the time I do not find any troubles. The taste? Well it is formula, breast milk tastes better but I know my baby is getting all the required nutrients at least. Fed is best.

Works
My baby had issues with gas when he was younger. We started off on similac advanced since he was in the hospital. But he would always spit up and have gas. We tried enfamil for gas and similac for sensitive formula. Both didnt seem to make much if a difference. We even tried the gerber hydrolyzed which worked wonderfully it just became expensive since it came in a small can. We then switched to this and the problems were resolved it just became difficult to find. We we switched back to similac the original similac advance and he seems to do well on now. Just wish I could find this formula in stock on a regular.

Good formula! Package redesign less than ideal.
I am happy with he formula. After trying 4 other brands and generics Gerber Good Start worked the best for our little one and is highly cost effective per OZ compared to other branded formula. That said, I am not happy with the packaging redesign. The new scooper is too wide for our bottles and the dry formula spills all over causing wasted powder, $ and time cleaning up. Dealing with it at 2am is less than ideal. I am shocked the packaging passed consumer testing. I wish Gerber kept the scooper the same size as the original package and we’d have no issues!
