Original Review posted below this one.UPDATED REVIEW: 5/11/18--------------------------------------When I originally bought this item in Nov. 2017 I received it already broken and immediately shipped it back. It felt very cheap. I was recently contacted by the creator of the item in May 2018 and offered a discount to try out the new updated version of the item so I accepted. I have to say, the product is made with much better quality material. The cat wand extends out into 3 segments around 3 ft long. The line that comes off the tip is a very heavy fishing wire. There are 3 types of toys to place on the line, a large set of feathers, a smaller set of feathers, and a very soft line of fluffy feathers. There's a nice little bag to hold everything in as well if you need to travel with it.My two cats love feathers, so the feather aspect is perfect for them. When I pulled it out of the wrapping and started playing with my cats they were immediately excited. I haven't seen either of them jump so high at a cat toy in a long time. Since there are nice little metal latches on each toy, I was able to hook one onto a cat scratch pad and another onto a cat scratching pole. Now my cats can go after two of them even if I'm not around to play.The fact that the creator of this product reached out to me says that he cares about his product - and that's worth something to me.ORIGINAL REVIEW: 11/18/17--------------------------------------I couldn't tell you what it's supposed to look like, because the one I received appears to be broken. Sent back for a refund. Definitely should have read the 1-star reviews as the 5 star reviews must have received a different product. The plastic is cheap and brittle. Thought I'd entertain my cats with this today, but I guess not.

I have two cats with very different tastes in toys, and this works for them both! The short, full feathers are a favorite of my elder cat, and the younger loves darting after the furry strip attachment. I'll warn you that it's a bit of a struggle to unhook/attach the different toys to the rod, but with some effort, it's 100% worth it! They arrive in a lovely little zip-up pouch, so I don't have to worry about losing whichever toy isn't attached at the time. It's also surprisingly durable, both the feathers and the rod!I also want to take the time to say how personable the seller is. I haven't talked to them, but the toy came with a page from the seller that tells about their cats and how they rescued them, complete with photos. It's easy to see that they really care, and it's so rare to find companies that still have that personal touch to them. Definitely will be buying from here again!EDIT: One of the feather toys has finally fallen apart. This is a record! My older kitty tears up feather toys in one or two weeks, three weeks if we're lucky. This held out for nearly three months, and there are still two more attachments to go through! Seriously impressed by the quality of this toy.

It functions as a kitty toy. Just a little expensive in my opinion.

My kitty family consists of Kirby, Kizzy and Kenny. When I get home every day, Kirby and Kizzy run to the door to greet me. Kenny runs to his favorite toy to wait for me. After hugs and kisses, Kizzy runs to her food bowl to wait for a meal, Kirby runs to the front door to be let out even though he is an indoor cat and is never allowed out. Kenny is still sitting by his toy. This wand was bought for Kenny because he is the only one who loves to play. I dont even have to move it much like I do with his old wand. I can now work at the computer and dangle this new wand beside me when I dont have time to actively play with him. He has been entranced with it even when I am not playing with him. It is his new favorite toy. Surprising, my other two are now coming by to play as well and this morning, I found Kizzy curled up on the floor playing with the feathers by herself. One feather did fall off the very first day, but the rest seem to be on pretty good, plus you get two extra feather bunches anyway. I also really like how long it is and the sturdiness of the cable. Kind of reminds me of a fishing pole.

I like the fur toy! But nothing else at all its horrible! The clasps are hard to use and the stick is a flimsy peace of plastic that snaps at the handle when a cat hits it! Horrible they should stick to just selling the cat toys with universal attachments oh well easy fix! Last time I buy though!

The toy is really great and beautiful. My kitty likes it very much. But the item has one strong disadvantage: it has very tight spring (lock). I broke my nails when I tried to open it.

Great quality toy and my cat LOVES it. If he starts to lose interest in one attachment, I just snap on a different one and his interest is piqued again. There are three attachments: two different feather styles and one that looks like a critter tail. Our cat is bonkers for all of them. Each has a little bell attached; when he hears the bell he comes running from wherever he is. The handle is extendable, strong and sturdy. The line attached to the toys is like a clear fishing line so it doesn't interfere with the cat's focus on the toy part. It comes with a nifty storage bag so I just loop it over a doorknob to store until the next time. This toy will definitely bring many many hours of fun for our cat (and good entertainment for us watching him go crazy)!
