Is this good for gluing paper to metal for a strong but temporary bond?

I'm not sure. I've never tried that. It works very well on paper. It is a permanent glue though so I don't think you would get a temporary bond. I would test it on something unimportant first to be sure.

No. I make handmade books using this glue if I don’t want a wet glue. I haven’t had any pieces I’ve glued come apart. Great for small areas
