YMIX Plastic Cover Snap on Hard Protective Case for 2016 Pro 13" NO CD-ROM (A1706 & A1708) , 01 Starry Night

LOVE LOVE LOVE !! I must say I was a little scared when purchased, because there were no photos or reviews for this particular case, but turned out exactly how I wanted it! Super cute and girly and even matches my space grey MacBook!

When I first received this cover, I was thrilled that the image on it is as clear and vibrant as what you see on the product page. I was worried that the image may rub off or the white bottom may get stained easily, so I opted to wait and live with it for a while before reviewing. It's now seen seven months of solid everyday use. While I am not the Tasmanian Devil with it, I am by no means uber careful and gentle. My laptop and its cover go through life with me. This case has traveled quite a bit (through TSA bins and piled into various bags that aren't always made for laptops). It's been toted in my arms under paperwork, binders, and books at work. It is slid into and out of a laptop bag every day . . . a bag that also gets packed with other things. After solid daily use, it has done its job. My laptop is protected and the cover show no obvious signs of wear and tear. The feet on the underside are still firmly attached (I've had other cases with feet that seem to detach after a bit of use). The white bottom is still clean (save where some highlighter pen marked it). And the top cover is still beautiful and not worn down (save the smallest spot on one bottom corner edge. But that's the CORNER EDGE and no one would even notice except me . . . and I only noticed because I inspect the case every so often for any signs of wear after seeing how some of my colleagues' covers have scuffed and had images worn off. Attached photo taken today.). Best of all, this case makes me so stinking happy. While I don't get to enjoy it as I work, I will sometimes turn my laptop to look at it when I take breaks. I also find I run my hand over it and smile at the pretty birds and colors every day. It's nice for a cover not only to protect your expensive laptop but also bring you some joy and happy energy.

I purchased Starry Night on the Rhode and it exceeded my expectations! Really a wonderful print and fits perfectly on my Macbook Air 13 inch (A1466). Looks wonderful on my Mac. You cannot see the Apple light up, but that doesn't botter me at all. It feels great and looks great. I highly recommend!

Perfect fit and is beautiful to look at !

I'm very pleased with this purchase. The cover feels substantial and fits great on the lid. The bottom notches near the lid hinge don't quite clip onto the edge as I tried to show in the third and fourth pictures, making the bottom cover easy to remove, but it hasn't fallen off to date. The side cutouts leave ample room for connector access. The edges are low-profile, not extending over the laptop edges. The feet on the bottom keep the laptop from sliding around the table. The bottom also has plenty of ventilation cut outs. The cover has just the right amount of shimmer. While my order says Shiny Gray, it's more of a black to me, and I could swear black is what I ordered. :) Anyway, I love the color, so I'm glad it's darker than the reported Gray.Note that although not really apparent from the online product photos, the Apple icon is a cut out (see my first picture), which I think is stylish. Also, the glitter version is not smooth on the lid. It has the feel of a worn out emery board. I don't mind it, I just wasn't expecting it from the description.I would definitely buy this again.

I think this product would have been amazing. Unfortunately I had to return it because I didn’t realize it was made to fit the older version MacBooks. I have the 2019 MacBook Pro with the Touch Bar, which is the reason it did not fit. Just looking at the cover I could tell it had great durability and the quality was amazing, especially for its inexpensive price. When buying this product make sure you read the complete description to make sure it will fit your MacBook, but from the little time I had, I can tell it would’ve been amazing.

Love my new Totoro protective case! Easy to snap on and fits perfectly on my 2016 macbook pro w/ touch bar. It will protect from minor scratches and bumps. Don't expect it to protect your laptop from even a short fall, however. Aesthetically, the Totoro print is lovely and so cute! The case has a mat, slightly rubbery finish on the outside to decrease risk of slipping out of your hands; inner side texture of case is just regular shiny plastic.*update* subtracting a star because i just noticed today that the graphic print is peeling away at the edges (at Totoro's feet and at top of tree; see photo). Sure, there's always going to be some wear n tear but I didn't expect it to be so soon since I'm pretty careful with my laptop and carry it in my laptop bag to and from work about twice a week. Granted the plastic shell is still protecting my computer but still, I wish Totoro wasn't peeling away.*update #2* minus another star. At less than a year out, both left and right sides of bottom piece are cracking so that it no longer clings to my laptop. As much as i love the design, I need a case that will ultimately protect my laptop from scratches. Will be looking for a longer-lasting replacement.

Had to buy a new cover to replace my old one that was finally breaking after a few years. I was kind of sad lol but found this and hoped I would like it as much as my old one and I do! It's very pretty and fits perfectly. I was a little disappointed at first that it's actually "see-through". I didn't realize it didn't have a background and the background would be the silver of the computer but I've grown actually really like that design. Im happy with the purchase.

This was even nicer in person the cover is so beautiful and on top of that the doesn’t look cheap Very well made it was easy to snap on I type in my model number for my computer before purchasing I definitely recommend bought this as a Father’s Day gift he loved it very impressed love how it’s so affordable to press the helpful button if my pictures helped :-)

I bought this for my mom for Christmas. I like that there is no interruption in the covers picture to show the Apple. I find it very annoying to see the ones that show the Apple. Completely ruins the look of the cover unless it’s clear. Took a long time to find one that didn’t show the Apple.

This Product is exactly as depicted in the advertisement it is a beautiful Macbook cover. Sadly I have to rate this product 3 stars because it is not durable at all the top cover is in good shape and doesn't look like it will brake easily I didn't think the bottom would either but... after only having the case for a couple months the bottom cover has cracked in both front corners and pieces of the plastic have broken off. I don't believe this case will protect my computer but it looks nice. If you're looking for a pretty product to keep the computer form getting scratched this is the product for you, but do not buy this product if you expect it to protect your computer from damages.

This cover is super cute but it's not at all sturdy. I've had it 8 months and only tape is holding it on at this point. The bottom cracked and would not stay on after about 5 months, and I noticed cracks in the top in the past couple weeks. I have some cute Totoro tape I'm using to hold it in place but I'm not happy I have to replace it after less than a year's use.
